Wow I can't express how excited I am to hear about the conceiving and heir/child function you are putting in the game!  This is something I've always hoped to see in a mod and now you guys are doing it.  I think the 300 days is more then adequate.  How will it work?  Will a new companion/heir appear in your court after 300 days?  How do you name them?  As soon as this function is ready to unveil I would love to do at least a mini series on my channel showing off these great new features.

On the issue of your wife's chosen residence. She will chose the fief with the most Prosperity. You can try to move your residence but she will eventually go back to the best place.

Sure.  That sounds appropriate.

On the subject of and heir. Could you script something like this:
Have a dialog with wife with an option to try for heir.
Similar to when you learn a poem the camera backs out to the over map with a passage of time.
After a week you get a notification that your wife is with child.

So here is were reality and game fun would have to depart. I think something like 6 months in game would be a reasonable amount of time to wait for a full grown companion/son to spawn in your town or castle. They would simple be a companion after that.

Really cool extras may be impossible to script.
Random list of names for your child in the code that would be randomly selected or name your child option.

Randomness of getting a girl or boy.

Heir would appear in Characters list as part of your family. 

Ability to set marriage agreements with other lords for your
daughter.

I didn't really find a good answer from here:

But from my experience it's based on 4 things:
1. Your renown
2. Your relationship level with the lord
3. Your relationship level with the lady.
4. Where your relationship 'quest' is with the lady.

From my experience if you want to wed a certain woman the process are these steps:
1. Build up enough reputation with her lord for her to be present when you enter their keep.
2. Win a tournament, then dedicate it to her when you introduce yourself to her.
3. Say you're her admirer, then meet with her several times, telling her poems etc etc. There are quests you can do for ladies but I've never done them?
4. After you get your relationship to the teens, propose.
5. Once she says yes, go talk to her lord and ask for permission.

What you're doing is basically steps 1 and 5, so it's an uphill battle. When I've done playthroughs where I have a massive renown before bothering to get a bride it's much, much easier.

This is all correct except you have to elope with the Kings Daughter.  They never agree to a marriage.  Its okay though the relationship hit is very minor (under -5 i believe) but you get a princess in return.

Yes the Pope will go to war with you if you rebel.  If you attack him or his lords even if they started the war ever other Catholic Kingdom in Europe will go to war with you as well. 

Option 1:

Destroy the Pope and his Kingdom, weather the storm from other nations and try to get peace with them.

Option 2:

Avoid the Pope, try to get a peace agreement with him and be on your way with starting your kingdom.  It will take time but much less then fighting an all out war with Europe.  Plus if your kingdom isn't geographically close to Italy and the Papal States then trying to eliminating them as a faction becomes very difficult.

How do you validate the game cache. I'm having the same issue.  cant start a new game.

The only option I get is to increase building improvements by 1 unit for 10000 or something like that. Is that correct. When I speak with the village elder about building something I get no options.  Am I not waiting long enough for something to happen.

The amount of troops that spawn in a battle is based on your tactics skill. If you have more tactics than the opposing leader then you will get more troops at the start of the battle then he will. 

When you say you spawn 3 vs 60.  Is that just your men but you have your lords men filling out the rest?  Or do you have only 3 men total versus 60?
