    If you had read over the last three odd pages, or even two posts above yours... you will see that yes others are reporting this problem.

    To answer question number 1 you should be able to join all lords/vassals (king Joffrey is not a lord or a vassal so thats correct). No idea though why you can't join Tywin.

    The mod vaguely follows events at the beginning of book two.. i.e timed events in the mod with Renly & Stannis both declaring themselves king, the Ironborn invasion etc, Aegon's appearance is much later on. Just bear in mind a lot of characters in the series are not who they appear to be..

    Correct :smile: I recently started on some wiki reading about Game of Thrones about its history. And it is very interesting, I should read the books :smile: downside to that is that some mayor plots will be known such as the death of Edward Stark en King Rob.

    By the way, about Clash of Kings quests, will the Targaryen quest result in a Targaryen invasion in Westeros or not?

    In quests guides it say it does but I also seen that Cozur said that it wasn't the case (not sure on which version that was). So is it so or not I have no idea! I am getting close to the point where I want to start my own Kingdom and thinking about setting up in the Stormlands/Dragonstone region. And If the Targaryen do invade I want to trigger it but it would suck if and when I would lose castles, towns and such on there invasion  :smile:

    PS: Kingslanding would be a easy pray as well, it changes all the time and has hardly any protection.

    I believe you cant switch it off :sad: it is annoying indeed and as you said hardly ever beneficial. The idea is cool tough but not balanced and can set you back big time! What I do about it is I counter them by exporting my character and place the agility, strength or whatever I lost back. When you open your character screen when in world map then bottom left there is a button (forgot its name) click it and press export. Go to your Warband map in documents in the "Character" map you find a text document where you can change it. Save it go back into the game and press import. It could be considered cheating I guess well if that's the case so be it  :razz:

    So it has to do with the fact that this is a GoT modd? Since all other modds do have sub boards.

    Story: Another product of incest and the eldest child of Cersei and Jamie Lannister for which was believed was born dead. Tomas was named and raised by Dustan Sand, a bastard from Dorne, from which he learnt the art of a battle. Taught by the Red Viper himself for some time, Tomas became one of the finest blades in Dorne. Not knowing his parentage, Tomas sets out on a journey to find out who his parents are and earn the name for himself.




    Dain of Bear Island


    Story: A Northman peasant youth in his early twenties who escaped from Bear Island after commiting a murder. One night, Dain had a dream and in dream a Red Woman approached him, saying he was the Chosen to be the victor of the Great War of Westeros, holding the heads of all Five Kings. Thus Dain raises an army of peasants to rebel against his lords, the Starks of Winterfell and make this a beggining of thr Great War which will change Westeros forever.




    So which one is the best? Vote if you are interested so I can start the aar soon. Voting is closed on Saturday and you can expect first chapter on Sunday.

    Cool idea! Personally I would go for Tomas Lannister, I like that one! Guess you will place your chapter on a other part of the forum?

    I have seen a few messages about marrying a wife with a lot of "power" how does that work? As far I know it does not really matter if you marry somebody from a large family where daddy has high renown or if you marry somebody with just a brother with relatively low renown. Only thing is that you get a relationship bonus with the family vassals. And a higher relationship would mean it might be easier to get dad and or brothers to join your faction when proposed. But that little relationship boost is not a game changer imo (one job more or less would fill the gap)...

    In my last game (I wanted to go to fast so not well prepared to start own faction, so started again lol) I married the daughter of Lord of Weeining Tower(?) of Stormlands (forgot his name). Even though we had good relations as well as with here brother both of them answered me "Long may he live!" when I asked how they feel about there king... so when they are welcoming to there king and the reply is "Long may he live" then there is no way to get them to join your faction.

    So long story short, is there a real benefit in marrying into a large "powerfull" family?

    Since I am typing my message also a second question :wink:

    Any tips in getting other vassals joining you? I do have friendly relationships but as stated above as soon the answer "Long may he live" I have no way to get them in my faction.

    For me Ruins of Ghoyan Drohe, hands down.
    since the pathing is broken some of your troops will be stuck among the stakes most will never find the ladders, and be trapped again in the stakes near the ladders, some enemies are in unreachable areas, and obviously the LOS are broken too since your archers will be unable to kill some enemies on the wall.
    well this map is hell on earth.
    I did all the work alone by killing something like 250men with a bow, always save the last arrow to kill one of your own bowmen for more amos. :wink:

    How can you kill 250 men without getting killed yourself? Even with a bow you will get hit since the other guys have bows and long range units as well... Not judging by the way but do you get that done by cheating of some sort? EDIT: And if not how do you do it? Bet it is good for the Renown  :wink:

    @Marakus, I feel the same way. Everytime I plunder 2 or more villages I have to travel for a very long time to get to a town.

    1. I always train my companions in different specialities like; Doctor (first aid, surgery etc.), Pathfinder (Tracking, Foraging etc.), Engineer (Engineering), Diplomat (Persuasion, good for when you have your own Kingdom) and so on. Making sure that every thing is on board in my party. Make specialists don't give every body a little bit of anything :wink:

    2. I kinda am in the same stage I guess. Join a Kingdom become a vassal, get lands, join wars, make friends, get married and such things :smile:

    And thanks glad I am not alone in that haha.

    Bigg ups to the maker I really love this mod! :cool: :cool:

    I haven't played M&B Warband for a long time till I came across this mod and cant stop playing (again) ever since :mrgreen: I am not that far yet but that's part of the fun!

    A check question though. Is it me or are there less cities then you would expect? There are a lot of castles and off course towns but the amount of cities are thin. In my opinion at least. Is this the experience of more or is this just my experience?

    By the way yesterday when playing PoP I got married :shock: any way when that happened a actual "video" accrued  :shock: is this also the case in Floris? Never seen it before!

    EDIT: Now that I think of it I believe all my other marriages from other games where not aloud by the father, brother or whatever so no real marriage. So could very well be that the marriage video always was a part of the game :mrgreen:
