Thank you for the reminder! But we all know that the German navy was made just for show. Come to Flensburg and we'll get the real war started.

Orders are in! Weren't as long as I would have hoped, but this next order I'll be sure to put in more effort.

Hopefully this turn we'll all see peace come to Europe! 

The delegation from Austria-Hungary is ignorant to conflate these two matters. One is a newly formed Empire, intent on ruthless expansion and domination of foreign powers by means of force; the other is a multi-ethnic State, mixed with democratic and noble ideals, intent on the unification of a people who have been forcefully separated-- against their wills.

The NGC's armies will not go on the offensive into Austria, or France, as long as the Unity of the German people is recognized. Even if we are attacked we will only fight on land that is German. We urge the power of Europe to acknowledge that this conflict is multi-leveled and the capitulation of the NGC by a coalition force will not end any bloodshed. The people of Germany will carry their own destiny forward even without a formal German state.

We understand that mediation doesn't guarantee a ruling in their favor. It's the principle of discussing something that does not need to be discussed or mediated. The German and Scandinavian governments have been discussing this extensively for nearly 2 years, and it is clear that Scandinavia has no intention to negotiate.

The European community should deny a platform for this "issue"; and condemn Scandinavia for its aggression.

Germany supports mediation over the conflict in Southern Germany.

Germany also denies the need for mediation over Schleswig-Holstein. While this issue is surely related to the South German conflict by virtue of Schleswig-Holstein being under German dominion; we see no reason to admit the jingoist yearnings of the young Scandinavia. This is clearly an unjustified attempt to seize German land in the midst of a crisis.

France should not host the conflict. They have a clear geopolitical stake in the European theater, and allowing them to host would be a conflict of interest.

Germany sponsors Italy as the host.

It's very telling that you would so quickly come to the defense of these conspirators; are there also French transports crossing the border that we should be aware of?

On the morning of December 22nd 1885, German border guards stopped multiple wagons crossing the Austro-Saxon border carrying: gold and rifles. Agents from Austria-Hungary were en-route to Flensburg with intent to sow discord and provoke violence between Danes and Germans in Schleswig-Holstein.

Thousands of pamphlets printed in German describing the oncoming “Kulturkampf” were also found. The pamphlets described a plot by Bismarck and local Jewish Rabbis, intent on forcibly removing Danes living in the German Empire from their homes. It is clear from additional documents that Danish agents would assist in this malicious conspiracy sponsored by Austria-Hungary. The Konig condemns these vile efforts to sow ethnic hatred within Northern Germany. While our country is first and foremost a German country, the hospitality of Germany is open to any and all nationalities.

Following this news, the German government urges European powers to work towards peace in the upcoming conference. And to question the validity of Denmark as a spectator in the American Civil War; a nation which itself promotes war crimes cannot be impartial on the subject.
