Totally agree. I had lords that owned more than 1 fief each, hit the support button 9 extra times for each one so they were getting 1000 gold a day. Everyone still left.

Also, I had at least 30 lords on the map running around with 0 armies. They didn't own anything. But refused to join me. Who owned 10 cities by myself. Dude, join me, I'll give you a freaking city man. I got 18 kids but the oldest is only 10. I need armies!

So the solution would for the bandit attack to spawn when not near a city. That would help your issue with it being near the city. It's a triggered attack. It's not random bandits from the map running around.

As others have said. Bannerlord Tweeks lets you set how many troops you can bring. I bring 50. Also, if you get the Patrols mod. You and anyone else that owns a fief can buy patrols. They will take out all but the largest bandit groups running around. I don't start with that one on since you want to kill these small groups for EXP. Later though, it's nice not to have to deal with bandits at all. Except for the rare 100+ group.

Also, a perk of the patrols is they will drop off whoever they capture in your town/castle. Got a lot of archer dudes that way.

For me, If i have a decent garrison I hardly ever get attacked.. Once I grabbed all 20 lords of mine and ran off and all at once the Nords started a war with me and were trying to take 4 or 5 castles.. I let me lords go and all the nords ran off.

I don't know if you know this about polearms but it took me ages to find out and I had to read it on here and it completely changed what I thought about the weapon.. I use some long lance, not even sure what its called.. but when I'm on a horse if you dont even touch the attack button and you start running your guy will bring the lance down and I have never hit someone and had them live.. Unless they use a shield that is and then the shield is gone.. Its amazing.. so I use that, a massive 2H axe and I have a shield on me as well in case I need that for the ranged guys.. I can always change back to my axe in no time.

That does not seem right to me.. If it is "Correctly" adjusting the inter-relations between your lords and you then why are you going to the chancellor and not letting it to what it is suppose to be doing?  Because it not correct.. You can't please all of them.. and if a lord already has some villages he should not get mad because you didn't give him one more.. I'm with all these people saying that your the king and they should do what you want.  I should not be doing missions for them.. If we could execute one and have relations with all the rest go up that would be great.  They like me, there afraid of me.. what ever.. All the same to me..

This whole thing does not upset me to much just because if you use the map thing they will do what you want MOST of the time.. and i don't worry about them joining in on battles since I have a MASSIVE army following me around anyways.. So in this mod at least since you can make your own army's to follow you and they always join.. Its not so bad.. At least they go around killing bandits and garrisoning castles.  And giving them fiefs does allow them to have larger army's.. So once i get everything i want built in there I give them away.. It changes what goes before there name too.. I have a bunch of Dukes and Earls running around now..  150+ army's easy.

They need there on line of troops to upgrade.. you cant take there men so it wouldn't be helping you any.. it doesn't make sense for them not to be able to get past tier one.  I have been going around giving better troops to all my lords.

1) Reward them with fiefs.
2) Do quests for them.
3) Join battles they are fighting a stronger opponent.


Non of that is even worth it really.. I have given away all of my Fiefs.. I have taken over and destroyed 3 factions.. so i have quite a few.. I gave away about half my castles and kept all the cities for my self.. It makes no difference. they all still hate me.. Quest take to long and dont give you all that many points when someone is at -80+ anyways.. and its kinda hard to get them to fight a stronger opponent. they run of them you know..

It does not even bother me anymore. with the map thing we have they still pretty much do what you tell them too and since you can make other parties to follow you around i don't need them for battles.. I just got them to run around killing random stuff and to garrison everything.

Whats this lag problem? I have played EverQuest and other games like that and there could be 400+ people in the same zone.

Robert Downey Jr. would be my pick or MAYBE Johnny Depp.. But he is missing a few cards from his deck.. so who knows.
