Herishey's Thread Templates

I made this on FSE originally for NW regiments/events, but the code should transfer across here fine if you wish to use any; Since I often get asked if people can use my thread templates I have decided to make this thread so you can all access them easily and so can I, so here you go. Just make sure to credit me if you use one, thanks. Bare in mind if you wish to use any graphics from those threads that are not mine they are not owned by me and are probably owned by Moskito or another member of the community that I have credited on the thread, so remember to also credit them.

P.S I will not be making new threads this is just for templates, though I will add some new ones if I make any.

Regiment/Clan Threads;

The 24e is a line infantry regiment who aim to become one of the best English speaking regiments, we recruit anyone who can speak English and is willing to obey commands as well as being as active as they can be. We will do multiple events a week such as 1v1's, 2v2's and training as well as some multiple-regiment linebattles in order to keep the regiment at a competitive standard. We aim to be one of the best regiments not only through skill, leadership and training, but also through our discipline in order to keep the regiment running well. Members of the regiment will also be advised to use historical names and it will be preferred but it will not be forced upon. Also in the 24e we will not only play NW or even only M&B:Warband, we will have a gaming community for other games such as Payday 2, CS:GO and Mercenaries.

|History|

The origins of the 24th regiment in the French Army dates back to the 1656, the date of the creation of the Royal Regiment. This regiment, who had distinguished himself in the army of Turenne covered himself with glory in 1792 at the Battle of Hondschoote, and deserved by his gallant conduct that the name of this victory was inscribed on the flag of the regiment.

The 19e Régiment d'infantrie de Ligne is a European based regiment (We do accept some North-American recruits), We are a very disciplined regiment but of course fun is still to be had, and have the goal of becoming one of the best but also casual regiments around! We are a friendly regiment with a fair number of experienced officers who are always recruiting! Think this is the regiment for you?

At the time Napoleon reigned over France and amongst his legions were the 19e Infantrie Regiment was one of the oldest regiments of the French army, the regiment of Flanders regiment then Saulx whom it was said "Beware of fire, water and Saulx regiment." He became "invincible 19th demi-brigade" and "19th Infantry Regiment of the line." Indeed, the regiment has not always had the same name, it's more than a dozen names he knew in less than 300 years.

At the time Napoleon reigned over France and amongst his legions were the 19e Infantrie Regiment was one of the oldest regiments of the French army, the regiment of Flanders regiment then Saulx whom it was said "Beware of fire, water and Saulx regiment." He became "invincible 19th demi-brigade" and "19th Infantry Regiment of the line." Indeed, the regiment has not always had the same name, it's more than a dozen names he knew in less than 300 years.

History

On the 9th August of 1741 King Friedrich II donated the 5th Husar-Regiment of the Prussian army which initially received the designation Regiment schwarze Husaren. As the first Chief of the Regiment was determined by Major Mackenroth, but the Regiment didn't have the name of him. For the first time with the 2nd Chief, the regiment received, as was so common, the name for identification and was from then on Hussars of Ruesch. With every change of the Chief the regimental name also changed, the unit was called:

from 18 October 1783 Husaren-Regiment von Hohenstock
from 23 May 1788 Husaren-Regiment von Göckingk
from 29 December 1794 Husaren-Regiment von Suter
from 1804 Husaren-Regiment von Prittwitz

On the 20th of December 1808 the Regiment got divided to the 1.Leib-Husaren-Regiment in Goldap and the 2-Leib-Husaren-Regiment in Preussisch Stargard. On the 7th May 1817 the 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment were the new garrison of Danzig and they got recalled on the 7th May 1861 to the 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr. 1.

In the liberation war 1813/14, the hussars fought in the battle of Großbeeren and in the Battle of Leipzig. After the abdication of Napoleon, the unit moved with the victorious troops into Paris.While the unrest in Poland in the years 1830, 1848 and 1863/64, the regiment was in each case as a backup to the Prussian-Russian border. In the war against Austria in 1866, the regiment fought in Bohemia and took part in the Battle of Sadowa on 3rd July 1866.The Franco-German war saw the hussars at the Battle of Sedan against the troops of Emperor Napoleon III. with subsequent transfer to the Southern Army in the area of Orleans. On 28th June 1871, the regiment returned to his home garrison. At the beginning of World War I the regiment advanced on 3rd August 1914 with its sister regiment (2nd Hussars Regiment No. 2), which should remain throughout the war in the Brigade Association off to the Western Front. The Hussars took part in the Battle of the Marne and the battles of Arras and were laid in the fall of 1914 to the Eastern Front. Here they fought at first in Galicia and in the Battle of Riga and were involved in the occupation of the islands of Osel and Dago. In support of the independence struggle, the brigade was sent in 1917 to Finland. After the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Russia on 3rd March 1918, the remaining units stayed as occupation troops in the Russian territories.

The 77y is a strong and connected regiment that plays the Napoleonic Wars mod on Mount and Blade:Warband we use this TeamSpeak: 85.236.100.85:14227 , the 77y is one of the oldest remaining regiments on NW and one of the most skilled, each detachment has its own Captain and is somewhat independent yet they come together once a week for the Sunday Linebattle and do internal events such as tournaments together.

The 77y is a line infantry regiment who aim to become one of the best English speaking regiments, we recruit anyone who can speak English and is willing to obey commands and be as active as they can. We do multiple events a week such as 1v1's, 2v2's and training as well as some multiple-regiment linebattles in order to keep the regiment at a competitive standard. We aim to be one of the best regiments not only through skill, leadership and training, but also through our casual discipline in order to keep the regiment running well. Members of the regiment do not have to use a historical name, they can use any name they want within reason. Also in the 77y we will not only play NW or even only M&B:Warband, we will have a gaming community for other games such as Payday 2, CS:GO and Life is Feudal.

The 77y is a line infantry regiment who aim to become one of the best English speaking regiments, we recruit anyone who can speak English and is willing to obey commands and be as active as they can. We do multiple events a week such as 1v1's, 2v2's and training as well as some multiple-regiment linebattles in order to keep the regiment at a competitive standard. We aim to be one of the best regiments not only through skill, leadership and training, but also through our casual discipline in order to keep the regiment running well. Members of the regiment do not have to use a historical name, they can use any name they want within reason. Also in the 77y we will not only play NW or even only M&B:Warband, we will have a gaming community for other games such as Payday 2, CS:GO and Life is Feudal.

Event Threads;

This duel league is hosted for EU players only (unless there are spare slots). The contestants will have to fight through multiple rounds in order to make it to the finals and become victorious. Good luck and fight well! We will have 64 slots. (The date will be the 1st of March, 7:30 GMT.)

4. The first duels will be first to 3 but the semi-finals and finals will be first to 5.

9. After having fought your opponents go straight to spectator unless told otherwise.
10. If anyone breaks any rules you will first be warned and then if you do it again you will most likely be banned.

Information

The 17e Monthly Siege Event has been created by the 17e Regiment d'infantrie de Ligne to create a new experience of siege events. With a past of many well hosted events including the 17e Sunday Linebattle and multiple tournaments as well as myself (Herishey) used to be hosting the 3rdFG Linebattles we aim to create a new experiance. Our goal is to make this the most professional and skilled siege event ever hosted in this community with a few new ideas. We will achieve this by well performed organization, excellent servers (We hope) and exceeding adminship, we will also be introducing 3 maps to start with where a poll will be held to decide which map will be used each month (One new map being added each month).

This is a European Siege Event. All events will be held on a German server which should provide decent pings for the whole of the EU player base (200 slots). We will keep it up to about 140-160 people on the server. These events will be hosted monthly usually on the last Wednesday or possibly Saturday of every month. The same thread will be used every month for this event.

In this event the classes to be played are Line or Arty. Also I do not think we will be accepting regulars but some exceptions may be made.

The NWWC will be similar to the NWEC but with different hosts due to Hekko seeming to not be coming back anytime soon. NWWC (Napoleonic Wars World Cup) is a tournament that brings together the nationalities of the NW community in a competition of bayonet GroupFighting. Nations put what they think will be their strongest teams and battle it out against other nations for the prestigious title of being the World Champion.

The tournament originally started in the spring of 2012, as a pilot designed to test out national group fighting competitions. The pilot was a success and bred a full blown tournament in the autumn of 2012. As time gone by the original organizers left the community and the latest tournament 2015 was organized by Herishey and Bobertini. However, because Herishey stopped organizing and sort of retired aswell, he gave the rights to use the name to me and as I don’t want to lose such an amazing concept, I came together with Rommel to revive the original NWWC tournament. To keep a static timeplan we decided to host a NWWC season every 6 month, while every second one will be a Mini-NWWC tournament.
Key Dates:

Team deadlines will be 30.03.2017, other than the NWWC 2017 will begin on 10.04.2017 and team captains will be decided until 20.03.2017.

End of Groupstage: 12.5.17

1. No shooting.
2. Only Infantry muskets are to be used.
3. Only line infantry which means no foot guards, Marines, Grenadiers or Militia.
4. Only 8 (7 if 8 cannot be managed) members max of team can be in the arena fighting. If a team cannot get 7 or 8 members to fight they may give a free win to their opponents or fight outnumbered.
5. Teams have to have at least 10 people on the roster.
6. Maximum number of members is 14.
7. If you have lived in a nation for 5 years you are considered a citizen of that nation so you may play for that team (e.g. if I was from Scotland but I lived in Spain I would have the choice to play either UK or Spain, but once I have picked a nation to play for even if I get kicked out the team I cannot change to the other, therefore if I chose to play for UK then got kicked out the team I cannot then go to the Spanish team and try to join.), this works the same for if a player has played for a nation previously in other NWEC's.
8. Some coalitions will be allowed such as the Balkan team, others maybe allowed if a nation cannot get the numbers for a team (e.g. Austria and Germany as they speak the same language mainly, or Russia and Ukraine.)
9. If you want to enter a team you must apply to be a team captain using the application format that will be provided soon, the organisers will then decide out of all the applications who had the most support for captain.
10. The tournament has a pool stage and an elimination stage. The winners and second place teams will progress from the groups to the quarter-finals after which all matches are played in a single elimination fashion.
11. Every victory in the pool stage will award your nation 3 points. Every draw in the pool stage will award your nation 1 point. (In the case of a draw points-wise individual round-difference will be used as a tie-breaker, and if round-difference would also result in a draw, 9 additional rounds will be played between the drawing nations.)
12. Matches are to be scheduled between team captains, and a referee is to be informed at least 24 hours (a day) in advance. (A referee is either one of the organizers, or someone that the organizers approve as a referee). A match may not proceed without a referee present.
13. Each match consists of 20 rounds. All 20 rounds will be played at all times. In case of a 10-all draw in a knock-out stage match an additional round will be played to decide the winner.
14.Only people on the team roster are to be used in the matches. Players must use their listed name on the team roster when in game and must use only one Warband ID for all their matches.
15. Matches may only be played on NWWC provided servers.
16. Both co-captains will have equal power in their nations team.
17. If a player has not played a game yet he can be replaced with no penalty. You can replace up to 3 players during the tournament who have played a match.' this will be the rule on player swapping.
18. A referee must be present at each match.

This is the World Cup so all nations are eligable to sign-up. The criteria for a 'Nation' is based on citizenship or birthplace. Nation mergers are permissible but will be subject to the NWWC teams discretion. Generally mergers are only allowed in exceptional cases, largely based of criteria such as common past sovreignty, common language or common identified culture, e.g. Former Yugoslavia or Former Czechoslovakia. Nevertheless, none of these criteria will absolutely guarantee a merger.

For those of you interested in being a co-captain for your nation, please keep in mind that it is an administrative position as well that requires you to make sure that your team makes the deadlines and that people can make it to the match dates and times you agree with your opponents. In the case of multiple individuals signing up for a Nation's Captaincy or multiple teams signing up as a National team, we encourage respective individuals to negotiate amongst eachother a resolution that produces a single team for the tournament. It is expected that the choosing of a National team's line-up is genuinely and absolutely intended to produce the strongest possible team for respective nations. The organisers will review appeals against biased team selection should there be issues. We hope that friend, regiment or any other sort of bias does not infringe the process of forming the best possible National teams.

Before a team can be registered players from a nation must reach a conclusion of who they would like to be the co-captains of their nation(s), if you wish to show your support for a candidate then either say it here or tell me in PM's or Steam. The captain application as well as the player application will be below and I will keep a list of these somewhere on the thread.

Team line-up changes can be made up until the Team draw deadline of the TBD, simply repost your new team in the thread to have your team updated. The sign up deadline is TBD. After this deadline 3 changes may be made to the team, after that you are stuck with what you have.

The minimum size for a final team is 10 players, the max is 14 players. Teams should expect to field at least 7 combatants during matches, the desired number being 8 combatants, so keep this in mind when creating your team line-ups. Bare this rule in mind If a player has not played a game yet he can be replaced with no penalty. You can replace up to 3 players during the tournament who have played a match.' this will be the rule on player swapping.

For the beginning all players will be accepted, the captain will have the final say in the roster though.

When arranging a match, make sure you have employed one of the referees or one of the organisers to referee your match. You must inform a referee of your match time at least 24 hours prior to a match. A match cannot proceed without a referee present.

The NWWC will be similar to the NWEC but with different hosts due to Hekko seeming to not be coming back anytime soon. NWWC (Napoleonic Wars World Cup) is a tournament that brings together the nationalities of the NW community in a competition of bayonet GroupFighting. Nations put what they think will be their strongest teams and battle it out against other nations for the prestigious title of being the World Champion.

The tournament originally started in the spring of 2012, as a pilot designed to test out national group fighting competitions. The pilot was a success and bred a full blown tournament in the autumn of 2012. As time gone by the original organizers left the community and the latest tournament 2015 was organized by Herishey and Bobertini. However, because Herishey stopped organizing and sort of retired aswell, he gave the rights to use the name to me and as I don’t want to lose such an amazing concept, I came together with Rommel to revive the original NWWC tournament. To keep a static timeplan we decided to host a NWWC season every 6 month, while every second one will be a Mini-NWWC tournament.
Key Dates:

Team deadlines will be 30.03.2017, other than the NWWC 2017 will begin on 10.04.2017 and team captains will be decided until 20.03.2017.

End of Groupstage: 12.5.17

1. No shooting.
2. Only Infantry muskets are to be used.
3. Only line infantry which means no foot guards, Marines, Grenadiers or Militia.
4. Only 8 (7 if 8 cannot be managed) members max of team can be in the arena fighting. If a team cannot get 7 or 8 members to fight they may give a free win to their opponents or fight outnumbered.
5. Teams have to have at least 10 people on the roster.
6. Maximum number of members is 14.
7. If you have lived in a nation for 5 years you are considered a citizen of that nation so you may play for that team (e.g. if I was from Scotland but I lived in Spain I would have the choice to play either UK or Spain, but once I have picked a nation to play for even if I get kicked out the team I cannot change to the other, therefore if I chose to play for UK then got kicked out the team I cannot then go to the Spanish team and try to join.), this works the same for if a player has played for a nation previously in other NWEC's.
8. Some coalitions will be allowed such as the Balkan team, others maybe allowed if a nation cannot get the numbers for a team (e.g. Austria and Germany as they speak the same language mainly, or Russia and Ukraine.)
9. If you want to enter a team you must apply to be a team captain using the application format that will be provided soon, the organisers will then decide out of all the applications who had the most support for captain.
10. The tournament has a pool stage and an elimination stage. The winners and second place teams will progress from the groups to the quarter-finals after which all matches are played in a single elimination fashion.
11. Every victory in the pool stage will award your nation 3 points. Every draw in the pool stage will award your nation 1 point. (In the case of a draw points-wise individual round-difference will be used as a tie-breaker, and if round-difference would also result in a draw, 9 additional rounds will be played between the drawing nations.)
12. Matches are to be scheduled between team captains, and a referee is to be informed at least 24 hours (a day) in advance. (A referee is either one of the organizers, or someone that the organizers approve as a referee). A match may not proceed without a referee present.
13. Each match consists of 20 rounds. All 20 rounds will be played at all times. In case of a 10-all draw in a knock-out stage match an additional round will be played to decide the winner.
14.Only people on the team roster are to be used in the matches. Players must use their listed name on the team roster when in game and must use only one Warband ID for all their matches.
15. Matches may only be played on NWWC provided servers.
16. Both co-captains will have equal power in their nations team.

18. A referee must be present at each match.

This is the World Cup so all nations are eligable to sign-up. The criteria for a 'Nation' is based on citizenship or birthplace. Nation mergers are permissible but will be subject to the NWWC teams discretion. Generally mergers are only allowed in exceptional cases, largely based of criteria such as common past sovreignty, common language or common identified culture, e.g. Former Yugoslavia or Former Czechoslovakia. Nevertheless, none of these criteria will absolutely guarantee a merger.

For those of you interested in being a co-captain for your nation, please keep in mind that it is an administrative position as well that requires you to make sure that your team makes the deadlines and that people can make it to the match dates and times you agree with your opponents. In the case of multiple individuals signing up for a Nation's Captaincy or multiple teams signing up as a National team, we encourage respective individuals to negotiate amongst eachother a resolution that produces a single team for the tournament.
