For a team who was initially created with mostly free-agents, Serious Warband quickly turned into a very powerful group who has got high chances to qualify for the main stage. It has to be mentioned that despite bringing players from different teams and horizons who never played much with one another, they all happen to be very experienced and talented, most already having played for top-teams within their warband career.
PuffTheDragon, former member and in-game caller of Sacrosanct, was the initiator of this project. After getting his first experience by taking the lead among Sacrosanct ranks, Puff decided to try his luck by making his own team for the BladeCast Masters. His line-up definitely has huge potential, assembling a deadly infantry squad with Booker_T (Slade), Kragen, BlackDevil and Puff himself. Serious Warband also managed to recruit former Belgian superstar LeRoux who will be joining an already powerful ranger pair composed of Kiano – who proved himself while playing with GeesePack and Red_War, an undoubtedly equally talented player. Their cavalry certainly will be an important asset with Asediado and Relexan as the main players in that category. Slade will also be capable to step-up as cavalry if required and Serious Warband can count on their all-rounder player, OGL, to make the difference on the field.
Their tournament experience has been nothing but a walk in the park for now, as they were given two default wins and had no problem whatsoever defeating Hawkband. Without a doubt, their most challenging encounter will happen tonight against Rising Rival as whoever takes the win will qualify for the main event.

Rising Rivals originality started two years ago for the European Championship Series 3 Qualifiers where they took Degenerated - a gathering of mostly RNGD and AE players - down to the wire in a thrilling match resulting in an 8-9 loss. Shortly after that, they came close to get the ECL2 title, losing against Fearless in the grand final. Losing multiple key players to higher skilled teams, Tallie took the decision to put RR as inactive, until they rise again, for the Warband Summer Cup 2. Unfortunately, the team didn’t have the best of the results there, not managing to make it of the group stage. Nevertheless, and despite losing a bunch of their players, its core managed to stick together and with the additions of a bunch of new faces, they decided to join the BladeCast Masters. Looking at it from an honest perspective, their encounter against Serious Warband can definitely turn out to be one of the closest matches we had in the qualifier so far as RR also had no difficulties while facing the other teams of their group.
Looking at their roster, a lot of their players are extremely versatile but it is expected to see Tallie, Ceasar, Kiron and WinFrid_TD take the spots of the main infantries whereas Harman, Azan, Cara and Dirty_VEN0M will be the team’s cavalries. Their rangers will also have a lot to play in their match against Serious Warband both Attila and Rainbow having the experience of a high-pressure match situation - the latest replacing Virus who unfortunately couldn't make it to the last match. With Harman and Azan, the team doesn’t only fill high-skilled players but also can count on these two when it comes to the tactical aspect, which surely will be needed tonight.
All things considered, Rising Rivals has the potential to go further. The team set itself the goal to take things steps by steps and try to make it out of the group. If it seems Serious Warband definitely looks like a difficult task to overcome, Rising Rivals has the line-up required to challenge them; and make it a match worth being remembered.

Unity Academy was born from the initiative of Elawen and Korift, both former KoA members. Looking to take a deeper step in the competitive aspect of native, they contacted Paulo, Unity leader, to form a second team mostly composed of KoA members but, quite like their eldest, also recruiting European players. With the help of Retamar and a bunch of other players, they managed to form a roster and participate in the Warband Summer Cup 2 where they managed to show a rather decent performance for a new team, reaching the Pre-Quarter Finals.
In the BladeCast Masters, they were placed among the hardest group of the competition and it was logically improbable for them to reproduce their exploit of the WSC2 once more. Their last match of the competition will be tonight against Fallen Pride who despite having lost against The Flaming Fist, appears to be the heavy favourite coming into this match-up. If it is unlikely to see Unity Academy upsetting them, they definitely have the chance to make it a closer encounter than their previous matches.
In any case, Unity Academy is a team which intends to stay within the scene and progress with their group of players. Their debut may seem harsh but they have proven that they do have potential and for all we know, some of their players could also turn out to be strong additions for the main Unity team, in a near future.

The team was initially Airelhach’s idea but it was also vastly powered by Aleksey and Tomayus, the two captains. Blackened is a gathering of Turkish veterans who decided to join forces for the BladeCast Masters. Bringing together part of Turkey’s finest players – some of which hadn’t played for quite some time - Blackened was considered from the start as the heavy favorite of their group but also a potential contender to challenge some of the invited teams.
Without any surprise, the team wasn’t given much opposition during their matches, managing to not drop a single round in three encounters. Their match against Back 2 Main Menu tonight shouldn’t be any different and the team already has one foot in the main event. The real question mark for them remains to know how further the team can still go.
Lead by Napoleon, former Freelancers captain, Blackened happens to be threatening in pretty much all-game aspect. They can rely on Samu, Tirtil and Airelhach as their main rangers and Grenade and Tyhke as main cavalries. Not any less skilled, their infantry core is formed of Napoleon, Khefren, Tomayus, Aleksey and Mynes, the latest being the only non-Turkish player of the team. All of them have experienced the highest level of competitive warband and often came on top of the most challenging opponents. But it is also worth noting that for some of them, they have not competed for quite a while and are therefore expected to be quite rusty. After two weeks in the qualifier, once could assume they have found their footings once more and are feeling more confident in their abilities as a team but without a single opponent able to contest them so far, we don’t really know yet the real potential of Blackened. If they happen to get the same kind of result against Back 2 Main Menu, then we will have to wait for their first match in the main event to finally see what their team is up to, and if Turkish warband is ready to dominate the scene once more.
