The units firing all those arrows are the by me added furcoats, and do not show up in the mod.
Since I love the dying animations, especially how weird some of them turn out in EG III I made myself an easy-to-come-by ranged unit and started shooting the hell out of those pesky bear guys. It makes for truly epic dying shots. ^_^kekeke

I DL'd gamecam but they only let me record three seconds of footage! So during one of my repeated 'RECORD AGEN!' attempts I got shot in the nostril =(

Anyone know simple freebie recording software out there? Nothing fancy 'blur-slowmo-zoom-axplode', I can't control more than the 'record' hotkey during a battle anyways.

EDIT: The three seconds of footage where I got shot. What happened next was pretty hilarious in my opinion.

I used to use FRAPS to record gameplay clips. I assume it's still out there

Meh fraps requires purchasing aswell, 30 sec recording limit.

Edit: http://www.labnol.org/software/download/how-to-record-computer-game-videos-for-youtube/2205/ shows all the current possibilities for recording. Looks like I'm going for the freebie windows option, since 'Taksi' doesn't provide sound.

PSedit: http://www.wegame.com/download/ a freebie which specifically supports Mount & Blade!

Last Edit for now: The WeGame client gets my framerate all chopped up! It actually slows the game down to the pace you're recording, which is 30 fps max which makes smooth fighting almost impossible..

I used cheats, but still...
You should check the forums. There's a guy who has fixed DX7 to look better. :\ Forgot his name though. Try in the technical support.

My old knight. Since I don't want to waste time on trying to find a name, I call them what they are. (I.E. Old Knight, Wandering Barbarian) So, no fancy name for him here.

expandedgameplay009.jpg

That is his face. Now this guy lost once. At level 9. All his fights except his last were against the Pillaging Bear Tribes and never did anyone unhorse him. He's fought about 35 battles, mostly staying back or hitting a foe once, as not to get too much experience before getting a good army. I started with the extra gold option, to get a quick merc army. I kept dismounting when I felt Dancer (that's his name right?) got too many hits, I don't want to have such a fine horse be crippled.

At level 9 stuff went wrong. I had been fighting for a few minutes, still holding back a bit, when some stupid mountain bandit manages to cripple my horse. Well, I slay the bastard, and try to retreat to the frontline of mah infantry. (or, seeing how slow my knight without a horse is, move the infantry frontline a bit closer :3) As the footman fight continues I try and go to the front a bit, slaying 3 of them mountain-****s in the process. As luck would have it, I then get hit by an arrow in my feet. My health drops to 25%, and as I turn around to flee, one of them bandits cuts my back open.

"Old Knight has perished"
