Saving Character

I've reinstalled the game twice and had to restart my character.  Where can I find the file that has my character info so I can periodically save it??.......or won't that work.

Thats wheres mine.
Something similar for your pc.
You`ll find a .txt with the name of your character.

But first export your character from ingame menu (character/stats if i recall correct) so you`ll keep your stats.
then whenever you start a new game (in any mod) make a character with the same name and import yours.

Thanks for the reply.  I looked in the similar files, searched my character's name, character, even .txt and found nothing.

Have you exported your char firstly?
Sounds odd...

I have never exported a character so have no idea how to.  And it is odd that I could not find a character file as there is obviously one in order to play.

Ok lets see:

While traveling ,to the bottom of your screen there is a ''character'' menu.
Open it.

Now to the bottom left corner there is a ''statistics'' menu.
Open it.

Now you can export your character and if you do so a .txt file with the name of your char will appear in game path: C:\Users\Your PC\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\Characters (or similar)
