Maybe it would be easier to allow team-captains (in the future) to just send a roster with the IDs themselves (without the need to join a server - since most clans have at least a trainingsserver; that way it's harder to forget players and easier to get the IDs). Although I'm not sure if that wasn't already possible.

I second this.

Clans without a server can simply do it old style.

That's already possible. However, I don't list it as an official method because it adds more potential for human error. This way, it's always clear if and when I make a mistake. It can always be shown and rectified. Any clan that wants access to their private roster can just PM me or message me on steam and I'll be more than happy to paste it.
