Need help with Grande Armée ranks and their abbreviations.

Users who are viewing this thread

I'm planning to form an Australian cuirassier regiment, but I'm kinda stumped on how I should abbreviate each of the ranks. I've abbreviated them myself, but if they are wrong, I'd like confirmation for whether they need correcting or not, thanks.

OFFICERS:

Capitaine (Capt)
Lieutenant (Lt)
Sous-lieutenant (SLt)

NON-COMMISIONED OFFICERS:

Adjundant-Chef (AdjC)
Adjundant (Adj)
Maréchal des logis Chef (MdlC)
Maréchal des Logis (MdL)

ENLISTED:

Brigadier-Fourrier (BrigF)
Brigadier (Brig)
Cavalier (Cav)

The austrian ranks are correct in that thread, so I would tend to believe that the rest is too.

Corporal Yuki...lulz.
