Need More Info Need help on activation

I downloaded a mod of V1.011 of warband and it requested me to activate it. I used the activation code from Steam version, it said "The game has been activated successfully". But when I tried to start the game, it just asked me to enter the serial key again - and successful again - and serial key...... What should I do with that?

It is related to the module. The mod does not have the latest serial numbers as the unmodded launcher has them.
