Closed Kingdom Decision Issues

Summary: When awarding fiefs through kingdom decisions you are unable to award yourself the fief even if you are the kingdom leader. I understand that there is a 'right of first refusal' mechanic, but there should also be a way to always default award yourself (if you are king) during kingdom decisions. It doesn't really make any sense that this is not an option.
How to Reproduce: Conquer a fief you want, then try to award it to yourself through kingdom decisions.

I've been informed that this is an intended design. However the team said they have plans to improve fief distribution in the future. Thanks for reporting and sorry for any inconvenience!
