Thanks a lot, you have helped me very much!
At last I can see them in game)

Here what has turned out at present moment:

I think it is necessary to make them  a bit more brighter, to strengthen normal map and to reduce specular on a leather.

Now I make 4th model. I think, it will be last for highlanders. + pair of berets and the weapon.

After that, I think,  it will be possible to finalise the pack.

Its just a shame they contribute to the ignorance of what the highland scots looked like in the 13th/14th C.  ( a pet hate of mine, I'm afraid)
At least you did'nt give them blue facepaint.

The majority of with what highlanders associates  concerns at least from 17th century

As in, he wasn't modelling ancient Scots, so he wasn't modelling chain mail.

For example, if to be based on book Osprey "The Scottish and Welsh Wars 1250-1400", we will see that Scots looked as usual early medieval worriors. Anything remarkable... And all it ALREADY is in MnB.)
I wanted to create for myself couple of  Highlanders(R) for MnB. Therefore I have afforded free enough relation to a material.)

Statues of worriors, what you have shown - who is it?
Abusolutly  clear that it`s  not the ordinary highlanders but  the notable persons.
Besides, in one book exactly so look Irish Galloglas of 15th centuries.

Meh, don't worry about it Yamabusi.  You'll never make everybody happy, so just make the models like you want them.  You're already pouring hours of work into these, and sharing them without asking anything in return, so don't worry about one guy's 'pet hate'.  Besides, you wrote clearly on the first post that these guys are meant to be 17th century Highlanders.

At last I have finished this character...

One more fancy highlander. Not for battle, but for courtship. And visitings of taverns. Also  he can be the bard, either the adventurer, or the  contraband  dealer, or the hired killer... Enyway...)

I have increased polycount (to the MnB standart) and details on a texture. Besides, here new footwear and two new berets. And a weapon set of dirk, broadsword and claymore. It has occupied a lot of time. Though this time I remained  happy with result. (And now this highlander totaly not entered in period of MnB. But anyway. I think, who will  be frightened having met him in tavern?!)

I will lay out archive with all models and textures after corrections a  little bit later.)
While I will go to play Brytenwalda a little)
I think, that's all whith highlanders for this moment. Maybe I will return to them later.
Now I plan to make some other special units.
