Here's Asa Branca, a Brazilian folk song. It's about a drought. I speak with a southeastern accent, so it's not very similar to the way Luiz Gonzaga originally sung it.
And here's O Sol Nascerá, which's an old samba from Cartola. Also very well considerable a folk song, but from my region.

Mostly it sounds like the Norwegian sociolect most immigrants speak. So quite understandable.

My horrid attempt at the above. I couldn't get the timing of the middle section right, and if you listen all the way through you'll hear me almost choking to death.
