Is anyone else getting a bug with NW where an enemy's musket just randomly fires while shouldered? It has killed me several times and I was wondering it might have something to do with the custom skins I use. Or lag. Just thought I might see if anyone else has had the problem. Thanks!

still tweaking it the wrist need to be rotated a bit as it applies to 1 handed weapons so it does it for the pistol too which is currently pointed at his forehead

Looks great, but do you know if the point discussed in this video would come into play?

I dont believe in that video.. the wrist is not supposed to be like that it would ahve your arm strecthed and your fist (holding the sabre) is looking at the front thus meaning the fist's whole (if youd like) would be looking infront of the horse

around 1:20
and plus its just a charge not an attack

speaking as a re-enactor(though, still infantry), I've seen cavalry men keeping their swords close to their body until right for 'impact'. The whole 'CHAAAAARGE' thing is mostly glorious hollywood.

I really like it but I dont like the running, I think the default running with sword is good but walking and standing still I really like with this!

Yes, the upside-down hold looks sort of awkward. I like the way it is held in that video more. It's no big deal really, unless you wanted perfect accuracy. I for one would trust lindybeige over War Horse

That horse charge animation is already in the animation files it was just unused. All I did was make it active i didn't bother tweaking it to look more Historically accurate (at least in the paintings anyway) because i Knew it would spark a did they didn't they. Problem at the moment is it applies to one hand wearpons except the lance, so dragoons sought of hold it out musket one handed like the Terminator. To be fair it i fun to charge at someone with it like your marking them out.

well, to be honest, War horse shows it pretty accurate, at least much accurater then Waterloo or Sharpe.
They might have waved their swords a little, and in the madness of the charge, troopers did get 'carried away' a bit. As an infantrymen, I don't have much pictures of cavarly, but I do have a video I made at an re-enactment.

4:30 and 5:20

They lift their swords a little, but don't wave them around like madmen. Which is also partly cos you might hit a friendly.

Once again, I'm not saying they didn't do it at all: but I think it's unlikely they waved their swords around like that. Excluding officers, they had to give commands with their swords.
