As per the loving request of Wellenbrecher. Ektor and maybe a few others including myself can put their stuff here such that it won't annoy normal people.

 
To this day the language and the word Volapük in Danish simply refers to gibberish or nonsense. How ironic.

I think the only successful constructed language is Esperanto, and even that is more of a curiosity.
Certainly not the world language it was meant to be.
I guess the tower of Babel will be built with technology (translation software) rather than artificial languages.

Nah, there are many conlangs out there, but using conlangs to communicate between people irl is unecessary, English does that and Latin/Arabic/Hindi/etc... did it before it.
