There is bug in one fighting sceene where this rock like don't exist. Everyone going through it.

Yep. Shimazu ashigaru or whatever. Not just this one, everyone. If anyone else can check this I would be grateful.

EDIT: I jsut fight with Shimazu lord and there wasn't Mori marks on their armors. Maybe those were Mori's since it was battle with caravan, but they have Shimazu flag on their backs.

For me it's already full version, just one bug that can't be fix, phlpp said, but it is very important bug. :sad:

I have a question. I was retainar for one lord, with Musashi and we were defeated, now I can't find Musashi, neither by ransom guy (since he is not in slavery) nor by traveler who you pay to find your companion. What to do? :sad:(((

How long has it been since he was defeated, I've noticed some lords disappear for a few days before reappearing at their castle. Maybe something similar with musashi because he was in that army? try waiting a few days and look again or he may still be in the lords army for some reason.
 
Aside from the screenshots that phlpp already posted about the new helmets and armors and stuff, there isn't really all that much to show lol. Bug reports maybe.

I haven't been able to play the latest build yet and my old video got messed up because Warband apparently doesn't like windowed mode. When I get free time later I'll try to take some random gameplay videos.

Not even one day when first tried. xD 2-3 days now nothing yet. I'll wait more, i forgot on that. :smile:
 
Here are some bugs that I found while playing.

When I enter Edo, it automatically shows me this.

And then it goes to the normal town menu.

After starting a new game and exploring the map for a couple of seconds all the small villages turn into like they're just been looted.

Also, when I open the notes menu it tells me that I'm ready to duel with my opponent, after I have a duel with him
it shows me a companion menu of my character, and it doesn't let me quit the menu, it just appears again after I tell him (me) that he is dissmissed.
And after a couple of times of telling him that he is dismissed that's what I get.

I don't have those bugs at all. Try reinstaling mod with latest build.
 
Will there be a more variety of troops later on? Its kinda boring how troops end up as just spearmen, swordsmen, mounted cav, or bow/gunners.

I'd like for Samurai to branch off weapon exclusive troops (not random) like Naginata, Tetsubo, Nodachi and that other weapon which name escapes me. Its no fun to have your troops composition change weapons every battle, relying on RNG to get certain weapons is a bad mechanic.

Just copy shogun 2's troops methods.

Lightly Armoured but quick and deadly = Nodachi. for example

Make use of the mass variety of weapons and armour in the game for different troop lines. Variety is better, especially when most factions are different colours of the same.

I have to agree with this, though at the same time I can see why phlpp decided to do it this way. On one hand, it makes the player want to use the samurai troops instead of the peasants if they want troop congruency. However, if I were a warlord I'd tell my peasants to equip one or the other instead of a random chance, because hybrid units are generally a bad idea in the kind of scale we have in this game.

I have to agree with this, though at the same time I can see why phlpp decided to do it this way. On one hand, it makes the player want to use the samurai troops instead of the peasants if they want troop congruency. However, if I were a warlord I'd tell my peasants to equip one or the other instead of a random chance, because hybrid units are generally a bad idea in the kind of scale we have in this game.

I find it annoying to have only certain ranks of unit use a weapon, then upgrading them switches their weapon type all together. This goes for mainly samurai. I know you can specialise in gun or bow samurai later in the tree. However theres no such option for melee weapon specialision. I'd like to have my samurai specialise in certain melee weapons. Tetsubo Samurai, Naginata samurai etc
 
one reason i never played shogun total war is because that kind of weapon specialization just completely breaks my immersion. they just never ever fought that way, with separate formations of "nodachi samurai" on one section of the line and "naginata samurai" on another. the "katana samurai" unit type is even worse because it's just nonsensical. now, i'm not trying to make gekokujo historically accurate at all, but that's just one of those things that crosses the line for me

gekokujo's melee samurai weapon choice is also not realistic at all, so i'm not badmouthing shogun for being unrealistic because i'm not making a claim to realism. the way gekokujo does it was a compromise (the way shogun's was a compromise -- their way made sense with their vision and gameplay). because the realistic thing to do would be to get rid of all weapon choices except the gun, the bow, and the yari and leave everything else as random for the officers, hatamoto, and lords, since they had the right to have personal preferences while lower retainers did not. i extended that right to all the samurai for the sake of variety. there is no way i can deal with 1 or 2 units for every weapon for all 20 factions, because it would make no sense to have them specialize in one or two weapon types as a compromise, since all weapons were largely available to everyone at the time
