Change Weapon and Hero Attribute

I have a small question!
I'd like to change the ashwood pike into one-handed polearm so it can be used with a board shield, but after modifying it from the text editor I can't see any result. Is it possible to change this? I have the Warband Toop Editor, of course.

Also is it possible to change who a hero will like or dislike?

You need to remove itp_two_handed and add the one-handed animations.
To modify companion dislikes, change the slot values for slot_troop_personalityclash/match_object slots.

You mean go to python files?
I don't know how to use Module System?
I only edit text files, that's all.

I have all changed ashwood pike into somewhat like the awlpike, but nothing takes effect.

Be sure to start a new game after editing anything.
If you want to make a real mod, it's highly recommended that you use the Module System.
If you're just tweaking around, you could use an Item Editor of sorts, like Morgh's Mod Tools.
