Personally I like Brytenwalda best. It is a hard mod, and it delivers a historical atmosphere and immersion of an unprecedented scope.
Other mods to look out for:
- The Last Days is a brilliant extremely immersive Lord of the Rings mod for the original M&B based on the books(!) and my favourite Mod for M&B, now also made workable in Warband by Swyter and others.
- Nova Aetas, a renaissance setting for Calradia, with brilliant mew models, and a **** ton of new features.
- Sayazn, an interesting and original more modern low fantasy setting, with lots of interesting features and an incredibly well thought out novel background, plus some upcoming original features like airship battles.
Mods I am waiting for to be realeased:
- Hispania 1200, looks like an incredibly historical accurate medieval Spain setting
- Crusader: Way to Expiation, looks like an incredibly historical accurate medieval crusader setting
- Slavinia, a kind of Slavic Brytenwalda
- L'AIGLE, Napoleonic Warfare, just look at the preview screenshots and you understand why.
- Dawn of Man, a setting in prehistoric times.
- my own mod - yet to be announced.
