add troop tree

i know a mod that add new units to the native. Freelancer is it compatible with these kind of mods? thank you and good job

It is compatible. Just modify the troop tree to whatever you'd like and you'll get that trooptree to choose from when promoting.

Umm... sorry to bother, but how exactly do you edit the troop tree.
Since it's apprantly not just copy paste.
Do i need to edit troop.txt? or is it something else.

Specifically, I'm trying to add the extended trooptree that is found in the Floris Modpack.

Just copy and paste Floris's troops.txt over the one in the Freelancer directory.

Also, simply copy and paste a troop multiple times at the bottom of the troops txt, then get a troop editor by HokieBT , then simply modify the troops into your new troops. (thats how I made all of my troops)

....This is possible, .but. any other amour or weapons not used in native will not be available, but also remember Floris has freelancer now
