People have been using explosive grenades as long as they've been able to make jars explode. He's just saying that TNT doesn't throw shrapnel unless you wrap it in wire or something.

Tip: Aim upper than the target, while you are on a hill or any elevation and shooting downwards.

At least aim the head so that your shot may hit torso.

mmm is the opposite to what happens in real life,
that confused me.
Shooting downward or upwards makes bullet hit higher, you can google it anywhere
and by experience I say the same.

Cheers

The typical ranges in the game are short enough that bullet drop is negligible. The reason you need to aim differently is that if you are using 3rd person camera, your point of view relative to the barrel changes. In first person and RL, your eye is just over the barrel. In 3rd person, your eye is something like 2 feet above it when aiming ahead.

there is a bug related to the MB engine so when shooting downwards while on an elevation the hits doesn't register well

I've noticed my aim is better when I shoot without zooming in. Like, the computer decides to just give me a mulligan. Meanwhile no matter how carefully I aim while zoomed in...

Many a time i experienced in game,
having an enemy close enough, to say, not at arm-reach of my horse head
but say 10 meter or so, an easy shot.
So i fire at him doing nothing i fire again an again,
and  meanwhile the guy is scoring on me some hits.
Then i feel like a stupid (once more) and zoom in, and shoot
at the now giant guy aiming at me, and actually score an usually
very bad placed hit on it.

Just for the record, i usually get 10, 12 and the rare 14 difficulty shot with Spencer,
all the way across the map at the beginning the battle on steady targets,
or mid to ocassionally far range hit on moving target, that is mounted ones.

but, yes i noticed sometimes that very close shots at mounted enemies
are better performed without zoom than with it.

So, maybe the close shots on foot targets (as we're on horseback)
suffer the same bug that the elevation shot issue ?
That applies also as @ close distance there is actually
a pronounced elevation over the on-foot guy?
Never noticed it for mounted target.

There's a known hit detection issue at close range in M&B with high velocity projectiles.

but usually, when charging against each other, and armies are about to clash
i fire Spencer on the incoming oponents, hitting them even when they passed by my side,
closer than the situation i mentioned before, enough for a blow-with-a-knife distance
i would say I never almost had a miss (is why i keep doing it),
but trouble is always is there for guys on foot  and you on horseback.

yeah was almost impossible to hit them before in Native,
with crossbow, or bow when they come "AAAAARGHHHH"
to, at least, eviscerate you and you horse, you know.

To me is practically normal to hit those mounted guys in game with spencer,
when they are close enough to give you a hug (i would rather say they would never do that)
even surprising me scoring so close.
but at distance 10 to, say, 15 m at a on-foot guy, well,
many times had all the setback ive told before.

Ok an issue with HV projectiles at short distance, granted.
But would you say in some way that this is aggravated by that height difference?

Cheers

Asia has a good market for slaves, *sigh* to get to Asia you're going to need to pull of some crazy mexican border jumping skills

is killcam in this mod? or still need inside?

Yes, death cam has been included.  When you fall in battle you can continue to watch your troops fight.  Or you can press TAB, and the game will simulate a retreat as it does normally.

It´s the best mod I ever played. That guns, rifles, horses, buildings... just awesome. But there are too many bugs. So I can´t play. So I am looking forward to patch.

Great work guys. All of you.

Sorry for my English.

is there a way to go out-of-character with the death cam? I always see dirt and grass when I get shot  :???:

Press the 'R' key to float a bit above the action and look around.
