Both Wappaw and DoF are requesting an extension for our semifinal match. We've tried to schedule for this week but it seems to be a bad week for both teams in terms of availability. Already talked about it with Cheese and Darin.

No. In that case we'd use the second map chosen from the other match as the tiebreaker. If that one, by some coincidental stroke of luck, has also been played, then we'll use a RNG to select an unplayed map from the pool to be the tiebreaker.

They're other systems of breaking ties, none of which we want/need. You can read about them on challonge if you want to know how they work.

Perhaps you could expand on this and use your powerful rhetoric to explain how an 8th team leaving the bracket wouldn't create byes in the swiss bracket that you claim was “advertised.”

I hear what you're saying. This is the fairest way though. Having Blacktide and DoF as the only teams to get free +16s would be more unbalanced than this. It sucks that the bracket changes like that right near the end, but if a team drops, there's nothing to be done.

An opportunity you had was pulled out from under you. I get that.

Well, it's going to work out okay as +16 is assigned to every team in the tourney, so the playing field is still perfectly even in that respect. It's being dealt with as if they were never in the tourney. I think personal stats will be counted for matches that were played, but as all 7 remaining teams get a free +16 rounds, it doesn't give any teams advantage over others with respect to tiebreaker points.

Just noticed 'cause I haven't been checking the thread much, but I've seen a lot of mistakes in my stats anyway. They're wrong on the matches vs Rataferi, Reign and TSC.

Also, you have Jim scoring 10-12 vs Reign, but he didn't play in that match. Those are Rox's points. Rox has the points that should be mine (8-6), so those two rows need to be moved down one line.

This is really awesome that you're taking the time and putting the effort into this, but I almost think we should have another set of eyes proofing the points after they've been input. There seems to be a fair amount of errors. I wouldn't really care, but as these points may go down in the annals of NA Warband, I think we owe it to people to get it right.

This issue was discussed extensively in the last UNAC and this one. If you're still not getting in line after the warnings and discussion, then that's on you.

The admin is unified in this decision. You can argue it all you want, but it will get you nowhere. The decision was made and won't be reassessed.

It doesn't matter as points scored will not be used for seeding or tiebreaking. From the rules:

Should teams have tied seeding, the tie will be broken by points difference (total rounds scored minus rounds given up). Should teams still be tied, teams shall be given one week to have a tie-breaker.
