My game is not working

My game wont start up, it stops working when Im taken to the loading screen in the beginning and just shuts down. I've re-installed it and restarted my computer, still wont work.
I'm runing it of steam, and I have mods installed for singleplayer and Napeoleonic wars.

try removing C:\Users\User\Files\Mount&Blade Warband\rgl_config.txt

I dont know what caused it but i would get "warband has stopped working" right after the opening video.

if you get that and use steam, try Disabling the in game Steam Overlay.
to do this:
-Go to steam
-Top right hit steam
-Settings
-go down to In-Game
-uncheck "enable the steam Overlay while in game"

this stopped MnB crashing for me, and i hope this works for you.

note: you will not be able to shift tab and send messages, or take screen shots. But that is better then not being able to play
