As of Tuesday 11th June, the II. Königlich will be hosting a rotating battle/siege event at 9.30PM GMT (4.30PM EST) every week on Blood & Iron.
We extend our invitation to all regiments, be they old or new, to join us in playing this fantastic mod for Napoleonic Wars!
During a battle event we will alternate between maps using the standard format employed by most Napoleonic Wars regiments, with three rounds on the first and two on the second, whereas sieges will be played with just one round each. We would like to encourage people to suggest existing in-game maps as well as offer their own if they wish to; the more the merrier!
We'll be hosting sign ups on the forums and on our TeamSpeak 3. Please ensure that you are in our TS for 9PM GMT (4PM EST) on the day!
For this week we'll only be hosting one server, however if there's enough interest in the event we will begin hosting a second server for the event.
Line Infantry
Between six to thirty men to a line.
Spread formations are encouraged, however they may not be disproportionate. I.e, twenty man spread.
Splitting the line is allowed; i.e, one line of thirty splits into two lines of fifteen.
Fire in charge is allowed.
Firing on scouts is allowed.
May have two sappers.
May have two officers, including mounted officers.
Four men or less must retreat to a friendly line or defensive position.
Marine and Naval Infantry will be considered Line Infantry during the event.
