Bande of Pike & Shotte - 'The Lucky Dogs' Mercenary Company

From the campaign desk of His Honour Captain James Digby, penned by Serjeant Richard Flockton...

The Lucky Dogs stormed, took and held Skipton castle this weekend in the name of his majesty, Charles Stuart (Boo! Hiss! Boo! - Serjeant Flockton), with the Trayned Bandes. With the plucky Corporal Wil Lambert, souldiers Torkel Gamalson and Percival Longshanks*, and of course His Honour Captain Digby & Serjeant Flockton, we had many laughs, drank large amounts of ale and beer, smoked aplenty, waved pikes about, shot muskets and generally enjoyed ourselves. A cracking weekend had by all.

Depictions will be printed shortly and posted for general amusement.

*Thought to be long dead but rallied miraculously to aid us. First to the food, last to the field.

Guess who!

Nice!
From left to right: Longshanks, Gamalson, Flockton, Lambert, Digby.

Did they give you the equipment and clothing for the weekend? I know Richard owns his own set...

Such a splendid squad is a seldom sight.

While it looks as if Master Longshanks could have used a slight whack on his helmet Master Gamalson's head guard must have been the shiniest around. Once again Serjeant Flockton parades his proficiency in proper posing. Even though quite different in appearance, Corporal Lambert's eased stance looks rather pleasing as well. And with modest grace His Honour's posture reflects his ever-present preparedness quite vividly.
