Sorry, throwing in a few items and no real content doesn't show you're capable of making a mod.  A piss poor release like this isn't the way to convince people you're capable of producing a mod.

ok i have made a map for the zulu mod

there is a large to scale South Africa and on the left a very small british isils  were you can spawn if your a british soldier
my ithought is that if your a british soldier and you just spawn randomly in africa well thats not very realistic but if you are Engish and you spawn in england well it makes some sense

Ok guys, the joke's been had. If you don't want to download it you don't have to. There's a very, very broad line between opinions and filling someone's thread with needless flame.

You probably could do a better job, but the bottom line is that you aren't willing to, so leave him and his thread be. He posted on here, so he shouldn't be protected from harsh criticisms. But his thread should be protected from needless, off-topic messages.

There's a pretty funny moment in the old thread where Arch comes and starts posting loads of really good, well thought ideas and Raz starts talking history.. and for almost a whole page it sounds amazing and possible and great... but then

And it all goes downhill from there. But just for that moment.. just for that one moment.. it sounds like greatness may be achieved.

In all fairness, I'm sure he has improved. He just hasn't grasped the whole "CONTENT" thing.

I say, release whatever you want, whenever you want. If people don't like it, they don't have to play it. You don't have to impress anyone. I hope this mod keeps working out for you. It will be a nice change in M&B.

True, but the modmaker should also give people a fair idea what's in, or in this case not in, the mod.  I was very unhappy when Nethros pulled the same thing not that long ago.  Had he said "Hey this is my mod but there's only a few new items and other than that it's just Native." I wouldn't have bothered to download it.  Labeling a mod "beta" implies that you have a playable release that may still be missing some features and/or buggy.  Not Native with a half dozen items chucked in.
