Dude! I saw this topic, and thought that some ass had taken to making yet another ****ing zombie novel, and then I saw I had created the topic.

For the first time in days, I was really, really scared. Just for a second. I mean, I was like, "When the HELL did I make that?!".

Then I realized it was just my anti-pixel rant split off by Merentha.

Phew!

Merentha, shouldn't this be in off-topic? It's not really about novels anymore, just 'bout le brehnz.

Oh, and to the whole zombie killing business, I'd go for an axe for melee. Since realistically, I have no way of acquiring any kind of firearms at all, an axe would have to do.

It doesn't hurt. A pair thick trousers makes them useless. Even getting shot at the head..a small bruise at most.

Depends. If you shoot in the eye at point blank range with a powerful BB gun it might penetrate. There are lots of different types, some of them can cause minor tearing etc even at long distance.

But you'd be better off with a paintball gun loaded with rocks

Well you can be shot fifteen times in the same eye. But I daresay in a zombie scenario the other seven shambling corpses would be on you before you had time to do that.

This BB gun shoots .177 mm metal BBs at 350 f/s. I've been shot with bbs and it does hurt.
And yes I have been punched. Very ineffective.

Shooting a zombie directly into the frontal lobe of the brain wouldn't produce much damage outside of his, and I quote, "impulse control, judgment, language production, working memory, motor function, sexual behavior, socialization, problem solving initiation, facial movement, planning abilities, coordinating, and motivation".

In other words, you'd motivate him into raping you on impulse. Congratulations.
