Zendar at night

Zendar is just too pitch black at night - you should add a couple of light sources in the form of torches or something (even if it's only at the doors of the inn and merchant) so that night-time Zendar is nicer to be in. The same goes for the Four Ways Inn when buildings are eventually added, and the Salt Mine.

I dunno if I agree, maybe a few more torches but thats it.

In 99% of games night is not dark, imo that sucks, the more realistic the darkness the better. Most medieval "towns" were not very bright hehe.

Well, it's definetely not pitch black for me... Upgrade your 10-years-old monitor! And yea, it's not Las Vegas. It's supposed to be dark. You can always sleed in the inn during the night (roleplay too ).

I say that your running speed should be maxed out when your in a town or a non-hostile area **cough**

Great idea, in fact. Perhaps not really maxed, but increased. Trudging around in full plate when you don't have athletics (btw, how about adding something to it besides walking speed? Rigth now, since horses rule so much, it's not really worth learning) is painfully slow.

I'm not saying to add in a full electric lighting system - all I was suggesting was, as you said, a few torches here and there. Outside stalls and doors - I mean, if those poor shopkeepers are going to keep selling their wares through the night, the least they could do would be to have some light.

Well, btw, better make shopowners and stuff disappear for the night. Go Gothic way .
AFter all, time does not really mean much, and it's much more 'in character' to sleep at night.

Not yet though, that merchnat's at night thing should come way later, after all the towns have benn made and a good caravan system is in place.
