So what are your types of relaxation music you listen to to unwind after a stressful day/week and just want to forget about everything and transport to a world where there are no worries.

I have a lot but probably my favorite would have to be Yoko Kanno
A playlist of her songs can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIVgSuuUTwQ&feature=BF&list=MLGxdCwVVULXcDwGBFA07LrbW5b877l38I&index=1

and this one

So, what are yalls artists or songs that make you feel relaxed and not burdened with whatever happened?

Post the artist, song, or even a video would be great!

It depends on the type of the stress, really, but if I want to achieve a kind of a serene, restful mood, I absolutely listen to Genesis. Not a big fan of Gabriel's voice, but it has its moments.

Here are some good songs in particular:

If I feel the opposite way, and want loud music, I usually listen to Pendulum. Not the new album!

I'm more of an Instrumental person, and I usually just put a Youtube repeat on the Gladiator soundtrack piece Elysium:

It's also the track I listen to while working diligently. Be it an Age of Empires 2 Map to play with all mah buddies later, SPO, or writing, reading, I usually have it on.

I also listen to traditional Classical Music when needing to unwind, since, well, its relaxing while still focusing and stimulating my thought process. I never found Songs to be all that relaxing. Somebody speaking is not how I relax, I simply get reminded of my troubles, no matter how nice the rhythm is or how relaxing the singer's voice is. Some reason, lyrical music just brings out the depressive thoughts(if I'm depressive at that point).
