Noone using shadow legion?

I use them. It's the strongest order. And their quest is one of the easiest to do since snake parties are strong. And I collect empire nobles from the prisoners to make centurions out of them.

And Knights of the Lion are very strong now. With faster horses, quicker shields and squire troops in form of another excellent cavalry. But I just like the epic look of centurions - they're massive.

How do you find the shadow legion order? I can see any special menu when I get in cez (where a chapter is supposed to be).
Do we have to find the in the town by walking around? Are they in the castle?

In the castle in Cez you can talk to one of them to know more about them, to take quests. Or you can found another chapter with qualis gem in any settlement without knight order.

Thank you

PS: just got a very very bad surprise: I took the quest the shadow legion gave me but because I couldn't get the requested amount of kills (not enough enemies and can't validate if I am not the one that engage them in fight) now I have a -4 relationship with them... what the f..!!!!
Is there any way to change this? they don't want to talk to me anymore

Just like with anybody else - help them in a fight. Snake party can be defeated with decent companions only and each one gives ~2000 points. The harder the fight for your party the more points you'll get.

If you'll not be able to help them in a fight then found another chapter in your settlement - it will give you +10 relationship points.

Silvermist rangers simply because they are the second best archers until upgraded that is and i love the way they treat the noldor...

KotEG because they rock in sieges and when the enemy sallys forth from me having 150 'archers', they get a very nasty surprise! And i like their view on enlightening the Noldor  (Not that I dislike the noldor but just the way they put it)

I enjoyed writing that line, had me chuckling for a while

In game, no. If you want to see them so badly, get a troop editor.

Wrong.

Get the troop and inspect it in the party menue. With some experience you´ll recognize the gear they´ve donned pretty quickly. The trooper showing up in at the party screen is usually the first one of the stack. In order to get the actual one you need to talk to him beforehands. So in cases where troops carry different gear (like Heroic Adventurers) you can only parade the first unit.

Visit a merchant to check the item. Far less time consuming than to look the troop up in the troop.txt and crosschecking the items in the itemkinds.txt except for certain really rare items. The Knights War Axe used by Kiergards and some Renegade Knights is one, for example. It usually takes ages to pick one up at a merchant so you may be faster by checking it with an editor if you´re curious than using the merchant. Unless you´re actively fighting Ravenstern and facing a lot of Kiergards.

Immortals.
Because their two handed swords and armor are just freaking awesome!
I like to have a massacre with them against enemy cavalry.

Knight of Eventide.

Because of their cape .
Still, their lvl and starting status (before upgrade) compared to Griffon give me some headaches.

now seriously KotEG for their upkeep, i use them mainly at castle defence, just WOW

I know right?  KotEG just obliterate in sieges.  I had 80 of them with 120 fodder troops against 1000 Fierdsvain.  Not a single KotEG down, and nearly 800 Fierdsvain dead or wounded.

As siege troops EAC are better than KotEG. During sieges (attack) the main damage is from bolts and in aspects of shooting and armor EAC are only slightly weaker but they have much smaller upkeep and can be replaced easily. In firefight KotEG has no considerable advantage over EAC, but they're better for melee -> solid firing line in field battles. Mix with RR or SR is better but, honestly, EAC can replace KotEG in that role too. But they look cool. So they can form some elite firing line for epic feel.

KotEG + SR, SL Centurions and Marinus = Meat grinder. Expensive.

Was that at full damage to your men? I would have bet that the fierds zerkers and huscarls in the first wave would have at least killed SOMETHING.

Or battlesize of 30.

Until they meet some D'Shar Bladesmen. Seriously though, I've seen Bladesmen decimate my legion of Immortals. It hurts. Especially when Kavian Bey shows up with 60 Bladesmasters.

I've yet to run into a blademaster. Are they really everything that you seem to imply? I've fought against immortals plenty of times and they tear a bloody swathe through everything except my shield wall of huscarls.

They have that nasty quick sabres which does slash damage only. They´re terribly fast and do a lot of damage. They don´t have a shield so they aren´t stunlocked in the block animation or trying to poke someone.

Yeah. Blademasters are quite a nuisance to fight against. Especially if it´s more than 1 unit at a time you´re facing.
