What is you opinion about the cav limit idea?

well most things are acturly done I am still waiting for 2 custom maps and your rule system then I will start a new thread currently I only have a german and French based serversponsoring Turkish and polish serverhosters ignored me.
and yes roubin it will be round robin.
 
Real life is really busy those days, will try to work on it tomorrow or this week-end, but I can't promise anything :/
 
No problem you have lots of time because the maps need to be done first that will at least take 1 week maybe more.
But now something else can you guys spread the news of this League in the polish and in the Turkish community?
I don't hold contact with them tbh and it's hard to contact them, seems like most of them don't use steam activly.

I'm gonna say something about the league.

Today we tested the rules with a match : 1000 gold, no round for respawn, cav limit, faction changing and spawn changing.

I spectate the match and I saw some interesting things.

First map : Steppe farmstead with Sweden and Crim.

As we saw, sweden was way more efficient than crim in steppe farmstead ( T_A_H won 5/0 with Sweden, Avenger won 3/2 With Sweden ). Crim with 1000 gold is very weak faction, espacially the cav. On the other hand, sweden musketman are way too strong. There, musketspam was the solution, so basically, the spam moved on from cav to musket.

Second map was a custom map with moscow and poland. It was a very close map, where cav was useless, and the two clans understood it, since we only saw 2 cavs on the whole map ! This map worked better than Steppe farmstead in my opinion, because clans didn't know it first, and also because it was a lot of melee fighting and improvising. Unfortunnatly, there were a spear spam there, not blamable though.

Also, 1000 didn't work well. Why ? Because prices for classes and factions are unbalanced. With 1000 gold.
Will make a video to explain why it wasn't that good.

So overall, what I would propose, is a limit on everyclass, for avoiding any kind of spam.

Good job to avenger and T_A_H that did great in this match.
 
Mainly I agree with you Ncro.

I just disagree in one thing with you: crim wasn´t to weak. We all haven´t played aggressively enough. Crimean often tried to camp for flag, but sweden could shoot them then from far range.
But when we won the 2 rounds, it was because we charged. We let cav went forward and then we atatcked with shielders. It worked pretty well. When we camped the sweden musketeers just finished us. I think we just have to get used to some new kind of game. And ofc we can also change the rules a bit, as Ncro said.
 
You managed to win 2 rounds by being offensive, that's a fact, but Avenger did few mistakes. They had no cav, so no cover from crim cav, and also, without 1 inf, the musketman got submerged and beaten. If Avenger would have taken cavs + infs, or manage to kill your cav before your rush, you probably wouldn't have win those 2 rounds, my point is, you won because on those 2 rounds, you had better tactic than avenger, but I'm afraid that if Avenger had better tactic, you would have lose anyway. And then, it would have been 5/5, with 0 victories for crim.
 
Well tbh I thought Crimean would be a lot stronger that's why I've choosen Crimean vs Sweden but I think this unbalanceness can be menaged by Organizers if these factions don't meet each other on an opend map anymore.
