Your favorite tactic/trademark

So whats your trademark move, or a tactic that you feel is the most effective in attacking or defending, for example, using a certain bush or wall and surprise shoot the enemy on a certain map? Cornering someone and kicking them to death? Anything, what do you find effective?

My favorite move, is countering cavalry, works against most but not the most experienced ones, is simple, i draw my short sword, scimitar, whatever, and when i see a lancer or cavalry spot me and decide to charge me, seeing as im an easy target, i switch to a pike, spear or awlpike. Surprisingly many will not turn away once theyve decided to go in for the kill, and almost everytime the pike or spear wins. The 1 handed weapon is like a taunt tool for me.

Lately I have engaged people in duels by removing my shield (unless they have archers). Usually this makes people underestimate me and leads in their demise, until I get shot by their archer friend.

My favourite move is to do a right attack, and just before it hits, I switch to the left attack, and putting all my strength into moving my mouse, I get massive speed bonus, instantly killing my foe.

Pike square is the best. If I'm by myself, however, I always go onto that broken platform in the ruined houses and introduce anyone to Sparta when they try to jump on to attack me.

my favorite thing to do before they removed it was couch lance.... with a javalin. Nothing spells humiliation by being couch lanced with a throwing twig

Or a couched long axe. Now that was fun. Especially hearing the *thunk* when you hit.

My favorite tactic is to overhead-smash an unsuspecting archer with a great hammer or two handed axe. Always good fun that way.

Lmao, only happened to me once so far. Those damn runaway ponnies have got me killed a couple of times though by breaking my block while I'm fighting.

Feigning retreat to get them to chamber while running forward, then turning around while swinging to catch them off guard.

I hate people like you, then.  That's a really cheap way to exploit game mechanics.

Using a short weapon to dismount or kill a couching cavalry. That is always fun...

.. Or ... you know ... shooting someone with a ranged weapon. I'm pretty good at that.

I have this cool move where I left click and move my mouse in the direction I want to attack.

Oh and sometimes I take my shield and I right click to block their attack.

Most useful moves in the game.

I like finishing with an overhead chop and I love shooting incoming lancers in the head, even though I fail too often, but I don't have much more to say than that.

Throwing weapon -> Horse's head
as a cav is charging me. Jarids and heavy throwing axes are the best, 'cause they'll almost always 1-shot the light horses like that. Of course, if it fails, I usually get couched.

Feint -> Attack from same side
seems to mess with people.

Die -> nerdrage





..That's about it. I'm not very creative.


And tonight, my favorite move seemed to be shooting TommyHu (who was my teammate at the time) in the back with my warbow and souped-up arrows. D:
