Sergeant Knight at Arms
Chime in guys and gals, let everyone know who your favorite is. Can be fictional, historical, good, bad, what ever, as long as theres a book with them in it.

Mine is Khlit the Cossack, aka the Wolf, aka Cossack of the Curved Saber. If you have never read Harold Lamb's stories, please, please check them out.

Ford Prefect- Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series

Sometimes oblivious but you cannot get him to be anything but laid back and relaxed

Literary character... hmm...

If I had to choose, it'd either be The Hound (Sandor Clegane) from A Song of Ice and Fire, Littlefinger (Petyr Baelish) also from ASoIaF, or Jeor Mormant, also from ASoIaF.

There are many other characters from that series and others that come close though.

For me it's a draw between Murderer 2 in Macbeth, the Trashcan man from The Stand or Bubba from Dennis Lehanes books about PI Pat Kenzie.

Ennesby, Rincewind, Tyrion Lannister, Yossar- Never mind, Orr then, Jim of the Cheddar Monks, Belkar Bitterleaf, Arvel Crynyd and Silk.

Nighteyes, Kettricken, Fitz, the Fool, Brashen and Starling. Any guesses as to which books?

The Silence of the Lambs
I hardly think all the other characters fit into Silence of the Lambs. Brashen is in a different set of books by the same author.

Keep guessing. Maybe look in my sig
