Because electrical engineering is really cool and is more like solving puzzles than actual "engineering engineering."

Yea, okay that was the best part. I did it for a year - just got out. The puzzles kinda wear out.

Currently in the process of doing an Electronic Engineering degree, my other qualifications all suck so it's not a big deal.

Picking scabs off your sister's back doesn't count as studying Medicine.

I gots me some A-levels. I also watched a whole bunch of nature documentaries and Qi. Counts for something right?

The number of people that quote QI with these useless ass facts that nobody cares about and then think they are clever is astonishing.
"Hey, did you know that one quarter of the bones in your body, are in your feet!"
"No."
"Well, I do. I watch QI."
"I DUN CARE."

Not saying that you're like that but there is one guy at my college that does my damn head in. Quotes QI every lesson.

Stephen Fry is quite funny and very intelligent, but his face makes me want to punch him.

"humanoid creatures with a variety of animal features, usually including cloven feet, horns, excessive body hair, and bestial faces."

Love you too.

Indeed. Whipping plus tar and feathers are in order.

Though I do agree that just quoting snippets from QI should also be grounds for tarring and feathering. Context is what is important, after all.

Seeing as sometimes QI facts are just conclusions from one study, and don't necessarily get accepted as the truth, people shouldn't take it as gospel.

I graduated early this year in Agronomy, 5 years course.

Actually working with 2d/3d art to save money to actually do something interesting with it.

Interesting thread to know what other people on the forum are up to. (Those that you don't already know that is)

I finished Belgian school 'met onderscheiding' which, apparently, translates in to '*** Laude' in English.
Doing my 3rd and last year at University to get a bachelor in Applied Economic Sciences, for short, economy. After which I will go for my master. After which I am planning to get a master post master, hopefully somewhere where people don't speak Latin, or Flemish.

At least that's my basic life-plan thusfar. What I will do after that is a big question mark, sure I have more plans but those are a bit far off. University life slips by so fast.

Bachelor degree in economics, University of Belgrade. I can't really complain about my job but any kind of education ain't worth **** here.

What kind of work do you do for economics? Of course it would be different probably from any job in America but im very interested in Economics and thinking of majoring in it in my college years.

Study economics and history at Purdue University.  I am planning on transferring to Indiana University.  To someone from Indiana, switching to IU is akin to heresy.

Studying energy engineering in Finland. Will be getting bachelors in a year and a half hopefully and masters two years after that. Going abroad to study after bachelors could mess up my studies though, so could take longer. I kinda feel that I should have aimed for masters in 4 years, but I guess it really doesn't matter all that much. I'll propably specialise in modelling, but we'll see.
