Good good.

PS I can imagine all your school subjects were cooler, and more difficult, than mine. None of mine were all that difficult.

I thought you had a BSME?

I was working on it, but the BBM was faster to get and ultimately I ended up flying like I wanted to anyway. I still plan on finishing my Mech E degree some day.

Converting these Finnish terms to English might be a bit problematic, but I intend to get master's degree in philosophy (which doesn't include any philosophy). In my case it means citizenship education, history and psychology, so I can work as teacher of those subjects.

I'm not American so it's not really J.S.D. proper.

Over where I live, the local equivalent of LL.M. or J.D. is enough for practicing law (if you pass the bar exam), but you can still go for either a "small doctorate" or "big doctorate". The thing is that the common popular perception here is that you're not really a lawyer unless you have the small doctorate (which has no rationale whatsoever, but hey business is business), so many lawyers (especially independent attorneys who need something nice for their business cards) go for the small one immediately after LL.M. and most finish it in about 18 months. I took it because I was genuinely interested in criminal law back then and well, wanted to be good at it and have a proof right in front of my name that I am. The big one takes 3 to 5 years to finish and is a direct and full equivalent of J.S.D. and until recently has been only taken by people who wanted to keep pushing for habilitation, but it's been becoming more and more common among commercial lawyers. It's kinda the new black of the legal business here.

A diploma from a gymnasium and a mercantile institute, no honors in anything. Studying welding and metalworks at the moment.

Bachelor's in Anthropology
Master's in Political Sciences

And I'm done, no more studies for me for now.

Ph.D. in Evolutionary Psychobiology from one of the most prestigious private Universities in the U.S. . . . so yes, even after your a "successful grownup" the allure of being an adolescent twat, playing computer games and hanging around on gaming boards doesn't necessarily just go away. Not having any kids and a low maintenance wife helps.

Finishing high school ATM, 10th grade, with a GPA of 3.8 or something.

Doing GCSE's at the moment..

- Maths higher level
- English language and literature
- German (Something I seriously regret doing)
- History
- Geography
- Classical Civilisation
- Comparative religion (Something, that for some reason, was mandatory for S3 at the time...)

Will be moving onto Scottish higher qualifications next year. Thank god... Better choice than an IB Diploma..

People keep telling me I'd be a superb police man.

I would be an awesome traffic cop. I have so much rage for bad drivers, careless drivers and those wankers who think that just because they have a "baby on board" sign hanging in their window they can do whatever the hell they want. And of course, because they have children, it's totally the other driver's fault if their kids get hurt.

But yes, you would make a good detective. If I could choose any branch of law enforcement, I would like most of all to be a Sheriff of a small town in the US, one of those communities where everybody knows everybody, and ultimately ends with half the population being brutally murdered. But it would be nice and picturesque, with mountains and streams and trees and occasional bears and mooses. Though on second thoughts, maybe being the Deputy would be better. That way, when the Sheriff gets shot, I'll be safe.
