Your Current Game

Clues in the title, what's going on in your game?
I just want to know what kind of armies or characters people are using, anything at all really.
Have you set yourself any goals? Any restrictions? What faction are you with (if you are)? Do you obliterate the enemy or crumple to the ground?

Post away!

Playing through 1257AD currently with the Kingdom of Norway. At war with Scotland and the Gaelic Kingdoms. Too poor to afford an army. Gear is too weak to win tournaments. So I'm just running around questing and killing bandits so I can get 15k for the mid level armor and start doing tournaments. Hopefully after a while I'll have enough money to open enough enterprises to afford an army.

Also, I'm going for a 0 leadership and 0 INT skills on my main character for the extra challenge, so affording an army is twice as hard. Goddamn 400 gold wages for those knights. Morale is probably going to be the biggest problem though.

Made my own kingdom in Diplomacy, based on the Nords. Only problem is... I have 2 castles, and literally every faction is after me. I think I've destroyed 5-10 campaigns against me now, but I'm running out of men...

My current game King Aejej recently cut off ties with the Swadians when they went to war yet again against the Nords. For once nobody was attacking Swadia but Harlaus the Fat seemed to decide to be a war monger and started declaring war on everyone.

I then marched my little army south to finish a blood feud with the Sultinate (before the war with Swadia the second most powerful nation and destroyed my armies more times than I care to admit to) Shariz became my capital and I had swiftly gained the surrounding castles as well as Halmar and Ahmerred.

Modded my game so that I, and all my lords can only recruit Sarranid troops, currently running a 20/100/40 army (20 cav 100 inf 40 archers) and building up a force to push Swadia back into submission, then with luck maybe the rest of the world!

Just started a new game with Floris and upped the difficulty by one level across the board, so I guess I'm at "Normal" difficulty (it makes me everyone's &!^c#).

Currently planning to spend my time doing chores for Guild Masters until I have an army that can handle any bandits I run across and I have enough money to begin investing in projects.
I may try to use Diplomacy to establish a kingdom later.

I'm about 250 days into my Floris game... and I don't really have much of a goal right now. I'm a Vaegir lord, and I'm pretty much building up my garrison for the city of Narra, which I got a few weeks ago. Sadly, my first city was taken during a campaign, but I think I'm keeping this one. My most pressing issues are companion conflicts, because I didn't really plan out which companions I'd be using at the beginning of the game. Now my two most important companions, the medic and the tactician, are at each others' throats, and one keeps trying to leave...
I wish Warband, in general, had more clear goals. I often find myself wandering around not really knowing what to do. I always get bored of the playthroughs at about day 300. I think the early game is the most fun

I am new to the game and just got it the beginning of the week, and am currently only on day 75. I originally wanted to become king Yaroglek's vassal though I am not sure now. I did a tax quest for him and accidently spent some of the money I collected, and ticked him off not completing the quest. Now every time I talk to him he hassles me about owing him over 7k(which rises every week for some reason, guessing interest?). So I gave up on doing that, and have now been trying to befriend the lord of Rivacheg and started up a weaver shop there. I really am not sure at this point if I will try to pay back the king and vassal again or try to start my own kingdom. I have heard it's hard to do so after reading some of the guides, so I may just end up saving up to pay back the king and do that instead. My army is only at around 25(upgraded a bit though), but half of that use to be knights and most got wiped out by a group of Swadians(we still won the battle barely) which we are currently at war with.

Started a game in Native, I was thinking of joining the Vaegirs, built an army of 50 or so men, but decided to go with the Swads.Helped the King take Uhhun Castle and together with Count Ryis(I think) i captured Malayurg Castle and kept it for myself. Please note that at the time I was using VAEGIR troops to fight for the SWADS against the KHEGRIT.Anyway, Yaroglek decided to go all Rambo-style and declared war on Swadia. So i had to disband my powerful vaegir knights and start again from scratch, this time using Swadian units.I imported the save into Diplomacy mod and after i captured my second Castle, i said "Screw you, Harlaus, i`m rolling on my own" and created a new kingdom. So now, i`m fighting against the Swads, with help from the Vaegirs and Khegrits. Also, the Rhodoks made peace with the Sarranids and for the first time they are not at war with anyone(atleast for now), and the Nords **** up the Vaegirs in the meantime. So it seems i`m in the best position to seize control of some really good territories, but I gotta find some noble companions to get more lords.

Playing a game in The Gathering Storm, slaughtering hordes of enemies in offensive sieges. 155 days in, and I've eliminated practically eliminated 3 of about 15-20 opponents.
