Should I upgrade? If so tell me which part. I want to run games like skyrim on ultra and I obviously can't with my current specs.

You have a laptop, you can't upgrade anything.
Not necessarily a laptop, but a monitor with the computer in it. Sort of like an apple mac. It's a desktop though.

EDIT: Just read the motherboards in these damn things are permanently sealed from anyone. Won't be able to upgrade my CPU or GPU.

Oh even worse. You'll have to get a new system in order to push more frames.

Not sure I typed these right, I hardly understand computer specs.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, as I said previously, I suck with Computer Specs .

However it gets the job done, regardless of if it's sarcasm or not!

He's talking about how it's complete overkill for a laptop. You overstepped the range of good performance per dollar by probably a few thousand dollars.

Eh. Thing is I saved for so long, plus I got it on sale. Albeit not a huge difference, it was about 2,500 rather than the standard 3,100 for those specs.

Sure, it's overpriced, but I got what I paid for.

Christ, the desktop I'm working on building is better than that in a lot of ways and will cost me 6-7 hundred.

Could probably buy a laptop with worse specs but won't perform any worse and a desktop with better CPU/GPU for the same cost.

Don't worry, larger quantities have been spent in worse ways. The world keeps spinning, and at the very least you have a sweet laptop.

For a budget build less than 1,00 USD,I feel I could get the job done with this. (I want High settings on BF3) Please leave suggestions. Sorry If I seem annoying with this stuff.

*THIS BUILD IS FORMED TO BE UPGRADED AFTER I GET THE MONEY FOR A BETTER CORE*

I am looking around, and this is the build I may go with. No I do not have this yet.

I don't know if I can squeeze the money, I'll looking into it though. I'm really only worried about bottle necki

Yeah, what he said. Picking out the highest quality of parts (not necessarily the highest tier of performance) will give you side benefits like better reliability and more features.

Pretty decent (though I don't know anything about that MOBO), the CPU is lacking though.  It's really worth it to go with an i5 and spend the extra money.

The psu listed is not to optimal either I would think. Build seems overpriced a bit for an i3 system but I assuming that includes tax and shipping.

I recently built my parents an i3 system and spent maybe $500 but they didn't need a gpu.
