i want to try foot soldier next, surround myself with mixed empire Immortals and Bladesmen troops with some xbow support. should be fun.

for now i am a standard heavy knight, sword and board + a bow that i'm just building skill for, never really used bow in MnB but i find it fun!

That does sound fun! I want to try getting a bunch of scorpion assassins and watch them knife spam everything

i honestly thought being on foot would be **** until i played brytenwalda. now i find myself dismounting in POP aswell. just have to be careful with Noldor bowmen coz you will be slower and also the dreaded hero cavarly charge will smash you up lol

I like to dismount too and just rape anything that comes near with my ruby two hander  Just gotta be careful when fighting Jatu as they like to try to lance me

yeah and you gotta beware of arrows too  Im looking for a awesome looking high end light armour, can any1 show me a screenshot of what they use or if they know of one. this games seems quite low on decent light armour. i use hardened light blue leather or something. its what im wearing on my screenshot over there <<<<<

Noldor armour, Demonskin (30 str needed though), dread legion armour. Don't know if these are really the things you mean as these are <20 in weight

If you mean like <15 weight. Go for some of the lighter Noldor armour, dread legion armour

Side note you could try Ranger mail or breast plates they're 16 weight

Dread legion is probably the best (I think 50 body armour) but you can only get it by defeating the dread legion spawn

Right ok thanks. where would i get ranger mail? and i take it the noldor stuff can only be obtained from that merchant. yeah thats kinda what i meant, i mean more like highend leather stuff, you know super light. not so much mail or B.plate.
cheers buddy

Ranger mail can be found in shops, but its very rare. Noldor you can get from the merchant, defeating noldor, I think they rarely show up in shops (not sure) or you could just take it from Lethaldiran

Currently playing my pilgrim playthrough, which has me decked out in
1x lordly pilgrim hood
1x lordly pilgrim robes
1x lordly wrapping boots
1x lordly leather gloves

1x Masterwork Quarter Staff
1x Masterwork throwing daggers
And I'm not allowed to change equipment unless I'm in a tourney or go into a town in a disguise.

Whoa, how is this going for you ? It is a great ideea, but i am really curious what do you do during battles ?
No horse ? Just stay and hide behind your Raverstein Rangers ? How, what ?

I'll give this a go then,

Mercenary Captain:
Simon Rael
Full helmet
Marleons Ornate plate
Lordly Mail boots
Heavy Knight war axe
Embossed round shield
and a Balanced long Knight lance

Uses an army of mix and matched troops, kinda looks like a rag tag team of " the guys who did not quite make the cut"

And my other Character is:
Dumant
Lordly Adventurers Helmet
Lordly Barclay armor
Lordly Heavy plate boots
Lordly Runed bastard sword
Long Knight lance
Noldor horse
Immortal shield
Usses an army of Adventurers and Lancer mercs.

I would say Paladin (my points are all in surgery, riding and battle skills IF and PS)

Heavy Lance
Silvered Longsword
Knightly Heater Shield

Ravenstern Closed Bascinet
Heraldic Mail With Tabard
Gauntlets
Mail Boots

Ravenstern Armored Warhorse

(I am still in early game so my gear is pretty basic and the only cheat I used was when I joined Ravenstern as lord I bought the warhorse from cheatmenu)

cheat menu for ranger leather&mail as AFAIK it never showed up on the armor store

Started a new game, I'm not a Slaver ( lol ) I'm using a Blunt Military Warhammer and a Shield, and Bow and Arrow to damage those pesky well-armored Knights.

I wish the Prophesy of Pendor Team added an ULTIMATE BLUNT WEAPON just like how they made the Emerald Two Handed Swords Bows Glaives and etc.

If you´re unsatisfied with the ultimate 1h warhammer weapon (which is awesomety^3), you can always use the ultimate great tourney lance and a highspeed horsey or use the ultimate 2h polehammer. The nice looking one, not the big rock onna stick.

That is, if you´re man enough to use it.

Hi!
I saw u guys talking about the weight of different armors ! Does that have an impact on the game or wearer?

I`m playing it as a standard heavy knight (wearing Siggy`s armor ) a 2H sword and a bow (with witch i suck) and 2 quivers.  I never get the runed weapons from the mines because i don`t want to waste my 3-hard-to-aquire qualis gems.
Also i lead a almost exclusive mounted army because infantry and archers are just so slow.

Encumbrance (total weight of your gear) slows down the player if he has to walk. As you´ll notice once you´re dehorsed or try a siege. So armor weight does impact the player. Greatly. Especially if you´re playing a MnB booted - beeing nimble and never alone is your life insurance then so you´ll end up finding those pieces of gear who have the best weight/AC ratio and are thusly the most desireable.

Especially since a horsey sucks up a lot of precious damage before it´s cut down.

Thx for the info...but i still won`t be able to help myself...i`m a sucker for a heavy plate .  Also since the only time i`m (usualy) unhorsed is in a siege i will be sticking to the heavyest armpurs available.  I find that i`m way too squishy iin light/medium armors.
It also helps that heavy armours look so damn good
