For me it is /vote Hurley, cos he's so cool & has an awesome sense of humour, and is a very real character. He's not a super-hero. Closely followed by Sayid and Desmond, on account of coolness also. Supporting character, Richard. Age-defying random guy, also cool.

Why? Because the Bestest Best Captain thread was feeling lonely. And also sorta in the wrong section. But nevermind.

Of season 5? Yes. Then I went back to season 1 and started watching it again from the beginning, and in the very first episode it showed Locke telling Walt about backgammon, and explaining the whole '2 players, 1 light, 1 dark' thing, and I was like "whoa, underlying theme of the WHOLE series and I had totally forgotten about it'.

And then I saw the episode where Jack found the cave and one of the bodies had a black and a white polished stone on his corpse and I'm kicking myself for forgetting all of this. At the time, I thought it was important, then promptly got distracted by smoke monsters and time travelling and other stuff, so it slipped my mind.

In related news, I was randomly browsing fanfiction.net the other day, and I discovered that Lost has over 8000 stories written for it. Like, WTF. And I thought the NWN community was large.
