-Would it be possible for us to be able to access the inventory/party/character screens from here?
-Another thing I would very much like would be the ability to select who goes into battle and who is reinforcements.
-And since there is an option to let your men go without you, could we have the option to go without them plz? I like to solo some battles (with the 'hold position' command I have to stay far away from them).

And before anyone flames me, that last one is just an option I'd like to have sometimes, and surely it wouldn't take much coding (though I wouldn't know)?

Maybe a "Have your men make camp, whilst you check out the threat" kind of option - so you can solo without getting rid of all your troops

Maybe there could be some options to get tactical advantage like

''send scouts''
''try to flank the enemy''( where you start right behind the enemy's back and get some tactical advantage)

the success chance of these ops could depend on your skill or the avarage (for example) stealth skill of your group etc. Such things could add flavor to battles.

I like the scouts idea. And BTW the reason I'd like to be able to access the equipment screen is that I generally have special gear for certain types of enemy, so if I'm chasing mountain bandits and get jumped be Black Kherghit raiders, I end up without a shield at the start and I'm messing about trying to access my inv while my men get killed...

Then what is the point of having an army??? why waste the time if your worried about them dying, they are FOR combat, not to just sit back and watch the combat?

I really dont mean to be rude, but why is it people say they charge alone because they dont want thier men hurt. Why buy them, please enlighten me. I'm really confused and bothered by this....

well... basicaly you wanna take out the most threatening enemies first, so that your men can have a chance to kill the rest. If there are a bunch of knights coming at you, you would want to take them out first, and not the group of infantry coming in behind them, because mounted enemies are more dangerous than they are on foot. Unless you consider me to be an enemy, cause then I'll just own you if you kill my horse
