I'm as a customer very disappointed of what just dropped out of steam's digital download.

The game is ok and slightly enjoyable in the start, UNTIL I realized how misleading the marketing of the game was.

I thought I was buying an extension for warband, like warband with guns and a story. Instead I bought an alternate version of upgraded vanilla, with many, many missing features, starting from marriage AND continuing to the rumoured excludement of actually becoming a ruler. (The 'Replacing Tsar' feature promised in an interview, which made me buy the game)

This is the first time I have EVER actually whined about a game being bad and wanting for a refund, and the only reason this time I want one is because all the promises, hype and marketing of the game was very misleading.

FYI, I'm not some random fresh-out-of-the-boat noob, I've played M&B series for hundreds and hundreds of hours.

Getting a refund is very unlikely.

I know exactly how you feel. I regret my purchase, but personally am not looking for a refund.

I was not aware that this was promised, but yeah if they did promise it and didn't deliver I can understand your point, are you sure that it's not possible?

Yeah, and we arent even allowed to be angry at taleworlds (or whoever random studios made this) for wasting our money, cause every time someone makes a topic about how they got cheated, these forumbastards come to the topic and tell us to shut up. The so called "whining" about this game is done by people who are potential playerbase for it, so not taking them seriously will simply result in fewer sales since people will tell their friends to not buy it. Well its your loss.

Why didn't you play the trial version? That's why they make it, so you can play and sees if you want to continue or not.

Nope. Burned myself like this with Test Drive Unlimited 2.
Difference is, I did spend some time testing that. The flaws didn't become apparent until late in the game.

I don't think we could try it for free. I've been a big supporter of Taleworlds since 2005, but I have to admit disappointment in this. It really does feel like just a mod, and a rough one at that - I'm not furious since it was just 13 dollars and not full price, but I think they could have done much better.

Do you have any proof of where that was offered?Next time try the demo.  Getting a refund is pretty unlikely. 

By the way, this game is the price of a large pizza.

I don't see what the problem is, i'm enjoying the game a lot and have yet to run into anything that displeases me, who cares if marriage and the ability to rule a kingdom is gone, nearly nobody uses marriage anyway and its actually quite fun having someone rule you for a change.
