i tried modding but with no succes i'm no good at this.

so a question.

how can you change the huge amount of xp points needed for level 51
or if you can´t do that is it possible to change the cheat ctrl x so you gain more xp then 1000. that way a caracter could advance above 50

Well.....im not sure about changing the level , but the XP cheat you could probably. You just need to find the right line , then mess with those scary number's

you can't change the cheat. but you can make a conversation give you huge amounts of xp and keep doing it. search for the term "give me money" on this forum. you should find a thread that says the same trick, but with money. then, look in the sticky for the operations thread. replace the money operation with the experience operation, and then make the number REALLY big. cross your fingers, then try it out. oh, and you might corrupt the savegame by doing that. so make a backup.

edit: hmm, i just searched and can't find the thread. maybe it's the wrong term? let me try again.

edit again: okay, i think i found it. here is the quote, modified to be for experience.

go to your conversation.txt file,
at the top, switch the number 871 to 872
search "131071 432 0 Tell_me_about_yourself 433 0"
on the next line, paste this in,
"131071 432 0 Give_me_experience. 434 1 10064 10000000 0"
save, and boom! every time you talk to a troop of yours, that'll be there for you to click, and get 10 mil experience from it.

I hope this is the right operation. if not, then it will be 10063 or 10062. here is the thread i got these operation numbers from. it's a bit confusing.

Yes it does, and if you change 10000000 to 90000000, you will level up to beyond 100, and then you will get glitch of this game where you'll get over hundred of point for each of strength, agile, int., and cha. and other character's options!

But if you do that it get's really boring.

I made my character a suit of black plate that had 255 armo helm , boots and 255 chest + 255 leg armor
So i was invulnerable.

Also made myself a good weapon...but it become's really boring after you start wiping out man after man..

i tried it and also changed the max of 8 for the skills to 15.

after that i used my superpowers to catch up with a spirited hunter while being on foot!!!!

I tried it. It's not working. I tried talking to Marnid and Borcha but it isn't there.

Ok I got it working now, I need to talk to a vaegir or swadian troop. But now when I did I got a RGL error. Can someone help me out or send me the conversation text? I tried all three 10064, 10062, and 10063.

I'm pretty sure rgl is something to do with graphics. So i doubt this caused it. I think <random speculation> that this may not be compatable with some mods. I've never played with conversations.txt, so I don't know if you might need to have this in a certain order compared to other lines or what. I remember reading somewhere that the player id changes in different places, so it could screw up there </random speculation>. If you are using any mod, it might have messed up because the number at the top of conversations.txt has to be incremented by one, not changed to 872. In an unmodded game that happens to be 872, but not otherwise. If you are using notepad, turn on the status bar. Press ctrl-end. Look at the line number and subtract one. That should be the number at the top.

Is level 50 the highest? i got to level 20 in two days.

It is without cheating/spending 18 hours a day playing for a long time. But you won't reach it for a while. If you haven't noticed, each level takes longer than the last. Getting to 50 takes a pretty long time.
