I highly advice to read the first page post and edit your application according to the very little rules we mentioned there. If you have big problems with this, ask someone who has already done it right.

By any chance is there a way to remove River Village from the map pool? Reveran village and waterfall are somewhat doable, but the before mentioned map would simply be to big to play in. We could change it with maybe Port Azur or any other not used maps?

We made a pool where you were able to choose from 3 different mappools, but most of you wanted to play the same maps again.
 
Actually tragic that dreiksdumbledoref made it into the map pool, an NA made map that was used in two tournaments. Ruins is bad, but it's not dreiksdorf bad.
The thing is ruins is too big for 6v6. You can literally win by raising the flag all the time if you get the right flag. Dreicksdorf may not be the best map but at least the round go faster and you don't waste your time.

Uuum, did I miss something or why should infantries be faster in 8v8? Its the same case for 6v6 as for 8v8, as long as you wait in the centre of both flags, you have equal chances to fight on that flag.

In mercenaries the flag even spawns 20seconds later, and there was probably 1 of 10 rounds, which was only won by flag because the team was too stupid enough to gamble for the far left flag. You can argue same about Reveran Village, if flag already spawned mid, and you gamble for church, and then it spawns on the far right, the opponent team might win by flag too. Same for ruins. Stupid decisions make you lose by flag not actually the map. Ruins might only be kinda OP for archers in the mid-ruins, thats all.

That map was played when it was still 10v10 or 15v15. Also it's easier to hold a flag on 6v6. Less cavs and archers so you can kite more easily. The map is disgusting for comp anyways no matter the amount of players.
 
Thats just simply not true. Just because its a 6v6 format, doesnt necessarily means you play 6 infs on an open map. You also have atleast 2 archers on an open (In 8v8 you also have 2 archer), dont know if you played recently but even on dreiecksdorf lots of teams play with 3 archers actually in a „6v6“??

And the team which holds the flag also has less cav like the attacking team. If you kite on the flag, you simply lose your flag. That makes 0 sense. You dont need necessarily more cav to win a flagfight. Its still same circumstances for both teams as long as they play 6v6 and not 6v8. Even if you gonna play 3v3 on ruins, it wont matter the flagfight. There‘s even the possibilty that it will be faster over than in an 8v8,10v10 or 15v15.
