This thread officially marks the end of the Warband Pro League. I hope you all enjoyed the gritty elimination matches we had throughout the single elimination stage. I for one was on the edge of my seat watching and playing in them. I'd like to take a moment to thank those who made this season successful, but before doing so, allow me to congratulate our champions;

Congratulations to Apis Europae on their victory for picking up their twelfth championship as a clan. Consistency is the hardest thing for teams to exhibit, and you show it every tournament. I think it's safe to say that you guys are the greatest warband clan of all time. Next up, congratulations to One Eyed for picking up their first championship as a clan. That first ring is always special, and you guys have shown tremendous progress, this being your second tournament as a clan. Your performance is a testament to dedication and hunger. I look forward to seeing what OE's capable of in the future. Thank you for partaking in the tournament, and enjoy that money!

And lastly, congratulations and commiserations to Random Potatoes and West Knights. You're both great teams, and played great throughout the tournament, thank you for playing.

THANK YOUS

OUR SPONSORS

Massive thanks to Logitech, SteelSeries, G-FUEL, MarkMods, JestServers, TaleWorlds, Calradian Servers, LordMetzger, and The Kingdom of Swadia for sponsoring this tournament. I'm not sure how the tournament would've turned out without your guys participation. The publicity and support we've gotten from you guys has helped develop our scene even further whilst also keeping it alive, and we're truly grateful for that. We look forward to working with you guys again sometime.

STREAMERS

First off, thank you to Calamity for organizing and handling all things related to streaming for the tournament. The progression you've made from the UNAC streams to the WPL streams is astounding. The content BladeCast_TV produces is exactly what we dreamed of doing when we started the channel. Secondly, massive thanks to the unsung heroes of BladeCast - Defeaning, 7evn, and Rosslington. None of that production would be possible with you guys, thanks for all the time you put into it.

Thank you to all of our casters this season; Captain Lust, Viktor, Nevino, Tardet, Troubadour, Can, Purzelblume, PPK157, Ron Burgundy, PeterAvastrat, Xbeau, BlackTide, ArcadeKnight, Nigerian, Rhade, Blivandefar, Cleric Johnson, Piccolo, Guacc, Scar, Vanidar, Ironhawk, John, Calamity, Mad Dawg, Ruthvenand Terriper. You guys kept us all entertained, I really couldn't have asked for a better cast, thank you for your time.

Also, thank you to the non-BladeCast streamers - Oliveran, Smiley, Nevino, and Kane.

TEAM CAPTAINS

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to schedule, organize and sign your teams up for this tournament. We really appreciate it!

REFEREES

Being a referee isn't easy. Either you get things right and nobody says anything or you make one mistake and things go haywire. The community owes you guys a lot, as do I. Thank you for the time you put into making sure everything is running smoothly. Thank you to; Nevino, Raven, Achaner, Trox, Gorlock, Tito, Ascarion, Sigi, Robin and Garde.

THE COMMUNITY

None of this is even possible without you guys, so thanks for participating in-game and on the forums!

THE DONORS

I can't mention all of your names because you don't want me to, but to the ones I can mention; Hani, Clockwise, Danate. You guys are straight up studs, thank you so much for donating, you're a big reason why our community is still breathing. I can't express how grateful I am for your contributions.

You da' real MVP.

THE STAFF

Running a tournament of this scale wasn't easy. And you can attribute it's success to these individuals:

Tardet - The frenchmen everyone loves. Thank you for pouring your time into the tournament, whether it was making reviews/threads for basically everything, contacting captains or other administrative work. I really appreciate the dedication you exhibited throughout the tournament.

Supreme Patriarch Deacon Barry -  Thank you for all the advice, input and solutions you provided throughout the tournament, you always made sure our head was on straight and that we were moving in the right direction.

Who's Glorious Leader? - You came onto the staff late, but your impact on the tournament was felt nonetheless. Thank you for all the input and administrative work you provided us with. I also appreciate that you let us use your highly sought after patented ranking system.

Oliveran - The man who does it all, like OGL you joined the staff late, but your impact was felt nonetheless. I don't think I would've been able to manage all the servers without you, I appreciate all the work you put into them and the module. So thank you for that.

Slave Sjaeles - My right hand man. I know you're really busy nowadays, so I appreciate the time you took out of your day to give your input on administrative matters and making graphics.

Old Man Calamity - It's always a pleasure working with you, the work you put into organizing things is nothing short of stellar. Thank you for your commitment to excellence. I appreciate it man.

Dark? Gibby - Thank you for all the initial work you put into WPL, I know it didn't end well, but you were a huge part of this tournament and a big reason why we received so much attention and ran smoothly.

So again, thank you all so much, it's been a pleasure working with you.

OTHER

Thank you to Yami for maintaining our statistics throughout the tournament. We all really appreciate the work you put into the statistics, and we all love looking at it.

Thank you to Rosslington for making the WPL2 logo, icons and awards!

Thank you to Belendor for making these beautiful awards!

Thank you to JaXm for helping me with DDoS protection and providing me with a server!

Thank you to LordMetzger for all the serverside assitance you provided me with.

Thank you to Captain Lust for all the assistance you provided me with during this tournament!

I'm grateful for all of it! And if I forgot anyone I'm sorry, the list is just so long.

WHATS NEXT?

Bannerlord?

Good question, luckily for you guys Warband never dies! We already have several tournaments going on. I suggest that you check out the 2017 Nations Cup, Sword & Bored, Warband Fantasy League, and the Sand & Sword tournament. They're all being ran exceptionally well, and you'll enjoy participating in them.

It was a great tourney, safe to say the best tourney ever done for this game. Lots of stuff like biggest prizepool, EU-NA matches and the fact that it was the most crowded tournament by team amount I think? It probably is.

Awesome stuff. Warband is NOT dying.

Working with a team of this quality was nothing but pleasure, thanks to everyone involved who made this tournament successful and I hope to be given the chance working with you again.

Congratulations to AE for continuing their absolute dominance of the warband scene, you guys are part of what makes this game special.
