Yes, with time he recovery of his/her wounds
However it would not be the case when you got injured on the same part before the old wound recovers. The wound effect seems to stack and does not recover.

If you recive same wound, new time of recovery is add, if it is serius wound, it need 30 days
But my character in 1.21 got the same serious wound twice and does not recover for over 150 days already. Will he recover in this version?

The problem is that it seems only the stacked penalty of that two wounds(both on my arms) last, while the wound on my leg heals rather quickly.

It seems like Ibdis is saying that recoverytimes sttack and as long as there is any recovery time left all wounds stay in place. So ig you have a wound and you get another one before it is healed the left over recovery time is added to the new recoverytime and both wounds stay in place. Get a third wound before the recoverytime is over and you will have 3 wounds until cumulative recovery time has passed. I like this woundsystem a lot, it forces you to lay low.... (btw I play never quit without saving, a much recommended option for this quite stable mod....)

Cheers,

Is there a place to check what wounds you currently have?
I remember mods in original M&B had it in the 'reports' section. I can't recall many of those awesome mods anymore, but I think the first one with this was EG. In Brytenwalda, however, there is no way to check the time remaining for the wound to cure.

I also assume the wounds heal over time right? Meaning you don't need to be resting for 30 days for this actually happen?

As my character got wounded in his leg and got some agility and strength deductions, but naturally I have to keep my character moving and making money or else I wouldn't be able to pay his army, so just wanna make sure.

I've been playing M&B for years and this is the first time I hear about these wounds lasting up to more than a few hours  (30 days??)
Could someone enlighten me

I can't even remember my original value for strength. It is decreased many times for quite a while now and seems to never get healed. At least I don't manage it to not get wounded during that period.

Thirty in-game days. I take it you haven't played the very best mods out there yet.
It has the traditional wounding included, meaning you get disabled to fight.
This system is different because if you, for example, get hit in the leg when you die you might get a 'leg wound' that'll decrease your agility and athletics. If you get a hit to the face your charisma will suffer.

In most of the mods this kind of wounds heal in a loop of 30 days, if you get wounded again before a wound has cured the first wound will become permanent.
In Brytenwalda I haven't seen any kind of healing for wounds though.

- Oh wow...okay that really explains why my hero is still crippled and not able to walk right...i was thinking about a bug and off to delete my lvl 36 char but i hoped i could save something of all my gameplay time... :(

Well i guess veteran fighters gets hurt from time to time, it´s just realism!

BUT, there should be definately a scroll, paper or whatever list with all your injuries you currently have, had or need to be cured. Maybe they could add a doctor npc that could heal those wounds quicker for some money. But i guess these lines should go to suggestions... :P

Greetings.

@ UnholyNighmare

I've been taken out in so many battles (40-50% of the time) since if I dont do much damage, how are my warriors supposed to. Anyway, I've never noticed anything of unusual.. My character heals up as normal... runs as normal and no points decreased.... and this is not just Brytenwalda Im talkin about... other mods too and offcourse the original M&B native versions
