Lord Burgess1

I am going to Afghanistan in 12 days and I am yet to buy Warband, I will only have brief half hour access to the internet when I book it. So MP will be out of the question, and I doubt there are any Afgani severs. I will be able to take my Laptop, so when I am not working, I will be able to play SP

So I ask you, is SP worth it?

Hey Burg.

IMO yes, especially if that brief access to the net will be used to download new mods/patches. Some people might disagree though.

Personally, I've already had more than 120 hours of gameplay in SP, and I've only owned this since like 3 or 4 days after release.

It is worth it without a doubt. It is a game with incredible replay value through mods(use your half-hour of internet well . And it's half price of most new games today. And your supporting an Indie game.
And, of course, it's completly awesome to play.

well the single player is fun but its way to litle quest, after awhile you end up doing the same quest many times

Well, I personally like the fact that you can make your own kingdom here, which is a huge ****in' challenge. IMO the replay value's just better for native.

The original has mods though.

It's up to you really. If you can spare the 30, I say go for it.

Also, good luck in Afghanistan. Be safe you hear?

Thank you for your service.

I bought it for SP mostly. I was a beta tester for MP and got my ass handed to me too much, so I don't play that much anymore. I am really enjoying SP though.

Right now, with 1.105 patch its worthy. And when the module system gets released, it will be more so. Besides, its cheaper than most games, and will last much more than most games.

IMHO its a safe bet.
