World war!?

Hey. I'm playing my dashing irish rogue, questing for Hrunting, when suddenly EVERYONE declares war on EVERYONE(well, almost).
This has made travel pretty much impossible, so I'm kinda forced to relinquish my oath to my liege here.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It is warband feature for do more difficult game to player.

In Normal warband you see less it because you have 6 kingdoms only, but in Brytenwalda you have 31...

I havent look this ever, I dont know if it is possible fix or it is hardcore.

It's fun. How can i trigger it ?
With my king-bandit life, i could easily take advantage of the situation

I wonder, is there any way to make this a bit more realistic? Once I started my kingdom, I usually spend one week at war with half of britain, and then one week at peace, and then one week at war and so on. I can understand my neighbours making war on me, but far-off nations?

Only real option here is patience. Wait until you've secured a massive income through trading and buying businesses before making an oath in order to level up your army. This way you have money coming in every week and you get the benefit of fighting with an allied army so that you wont be overwhelmed when tying to level up. Once levelled up and with a decent sized army you can worry a lot less because you'll be able to win battles while travelling on your own.

I agree though, I dont think the constant warfare makes the game any more fun. I would prefer to pick my enemies and not worry about random,(totally random) declarations of war from the other side of the map.

I did build up my economy before. I have 7 enterprises, but alot of them get put under sequestriation due to the declarations of war, thus denying me income. I put one in every city of ireland, and since theres always one of the kingdoms there declaring war on me I always lose some income.

Are these "random" declarations of war related to faction relationship? Can you avoid these by having good relations?
