Hey all,
First of all, thanks for all the hard work to bring Bannerlord into life. I've been waiting for this in my 20's, and now I'm over 30, glad to play the game
Straight to the point, I'd like to make a comment on the pace of the gaming experience : ITS TOO FAST.
1. World progression is way faster than personal progression, in terms of skills and clan.
2. You make money super-fast, without having anywhere to spend.
3. Battle Speed is also super fast. 3-5 minutes of super-micro control, the battles over.
1.
Only two factions remain within 15+ hours of gameplay. Its impossible to delay the snowballing.
Once an Army is mustered, Cities and Castles cannot sustain the offensive, nor the losing faction have enough time to replenish and launch counter-offensive.
What is worse, those Armies just keep pushing till they are dissembled. Usually they conquer 2-3 settlements per Offensive.
Diplomacy also doesn't have a room to kick-in, as the overall world progression is too fast.
2.
You make money pretty fast and easy. I was able to reach 3~4k+ per day within 20 hours of gameplay.
But with all that money, you have pretty much nothing to do.
It's just too low-cost to run your party even if it's filled with elite units.
3.
Overall movement speed is too fast compared to the size of the battlefield, rendering limited opportunity to actually control the units.
I'm pretty much an experienced user of Warband, but you have to make super quick decisions as if you are playing League of Legends.
Not to mention Super-DPS & lack of balance leads to a total bloodbath within 3 min.
But still, I'm glad to play Bannerlord. It's amazing.
It would be much better if the world-progression/money making is paced down close to reality.
Again, thanks for the game devs.
