Workshops are not inherited - after the death of the MC, workshops disappear

death of MC (you must own workshops)

Just to clarify, I experienced this too - it seems that the workshop does not "disappear" but stays and previous clan leader still owns it, even though he is dead. You can buy the workshop like you normally would and if you ask shop worker "whose workshop is this", you get the name of your previously played character that bought the workshop.
