[Workshop Suggestion] Workshop inventory for raw materials, and option to hold finished goods

Would you like to see a return of the inventory management aspects from Warband?

NOTE: If it's in the game already and I have not found it, please let me know ASAP and I will remove this thread.

Simply put, I would prefer some of the options that Warband allowed us when we owned business, such as managing the inventory. If I can find a better source for purchasing raw materials, I'd like to add those to the shops inventory. On the other hand, if I know of a city paying top denar for my finished goods, I would like the option to tell the store to hold finished goods for me to pick up. You know, like in Warband.

Edit: Suggestion 2: The option for your own caravans, when stopping at cities where you own businesses, to pick up your inventory and sell it elsewhere.

I like this idea. The first thing that comes to mind is the inventory management system for workshops in the original "The Guild" game (sliders that allowed to designate "Don't sell until [X] in inventory" and "Purchase raw materials up to [Y] in inventory")
 
+1 - I was really confused when first getting workshops since selling to the overall market of a town and not directly to my workshop is a bit abstract. It would be really nice to source my own material and net full profits from the goods. At the same time - the pure passiveness of the workshops and their income is really nice.

Totally! On the other hand, I'd like the ability to have a hand in the workshop's success (or failure!) in some way or another.

That's true - they could probably still have the passive part where if there is no raw resource in the workshop, the workshop supplements the needed raw resources from the market like it does now.
 
Would be a nice addition to the game.
I don't want to know how long i tried to find an option to stuff wood and iron ore into my workshops at Seonon.
(Not that spamming the material into the town trader helped alot.)
 
I'd really like that. It would be great if we could built something like a 'reserve' (only use this if the market price is above "XXX") or something.
